Daydreams filled her mind the whole way home, gliding far above the white clouds, once she landed she found herself excited to see Benny, and once she grabbed her luggage, she rushed downstairs and he was waiting toward the entry doors, her heart fluttered. Her rough, scruffy faced, tattooed boxer walked over and picked her up, twirling her around and around. "There you are."
"I missed you." She kissed him.
"Let's go." He grabbed the suitcase the hotel and given her and threw it in the back of his little Toyota beater truck, she smiled at him and he pressed her against the side, kissing her so passionately her toes curled and she wrapped her arms around him, pressing her body into his, his hand went under her shirt up the back and the other curved around her bottom and squeezed, he bit at her neck.
"Not here, let's get home." She panted, he kissed her one more time and then opened the door for her.
When they got back to the gym, Olivia quickly said her hi's to the staff and customers and rushed upstairs. He tossed the luggage down and then tossed her onto the protesting bed, she felt all his passion and jealousy pour onto her as he kissed and touched her, needed her. Twenty minutes later she lay there breathless, his sweaty head on her naked chest. "Holy shit."
"I missed you." He leaned up and kissed her cheek.
"I missed you too." He checked the time on his phone, "I'll go make sure they're cleaning up." Benny kissed her again and slid on shorts and a shirt. Olivia slowly got up and filled her bathtub up, she opened the suitcase and pulled out the bath bombs she 'borrowed' from the hotel and popped a deep green one in. It fizzled and bubbled, smelling like the ocean. She sighed into the water, the salt air surrounded her and she was back on the surfboard, with Crawford. She wondered where he was, on a plane? Was he thinking of her? He had been so kind, understanding, such a gentleman...when she heard the front door close she drained the bath and put on a long night shirt with slippers and padded out to the kitchen, he was putting a couple of frozen burritos into the oven, they stared at each other from opposite sides of the island.
"Who is this guy?" Benny asked finally.
"Crawford Wallace, he's a surfer—well he does bodybuilding too, and a photographer." She said plainly.
"You let him touch you, you barely hug people you've known for years." He flipped on the oven light and looked in on the burritos, still fully frozen.
"I'll admit I wasn't as uptight as normal, I had some drinks and I saw him dance with someone, I wanted to try it."
"Those pictures made me mad, I destroyed a heavy bag." He held up his bruised knuckles.
"I'm sorry, he was a gentleman, not handsy, nothing. In fact he got me back to my room and let me use his phone charger, gave me aspirin and locked the door on his way out." She shrugged, it was mostly the truth, there was no way she was telling him that they shared a room two nights in a row.
"Anything else?" Benny was gripping the counter hard.
"He showed me how to surf." His jaw tightened but he didn't react otherwise. Olivia went around the island and pried his hands off the counter, kissed his knuckles one by one, then moved to his clenched jaw and tightly closed mouth, finally his lips parted and his hands gripped her hips and lifted her up onto the counter.
"You don't realize how beautiful you are." Benny hugged her to him tightly, "I love you Livvy, with everything that I am. I need you. I wouldn't be here without you." She pulled his head back, holding the sides of his face.
