Their flight got in at ten, Andrew picked them up, his hair was longer, still slicked back. "Hey there stranger." She hugged him and the two men shook hands. "How's the hood?" Olivia shivered as they braved the cold, she'd almost forgotten how frigid Boston winters were.
"Same old, same old. Worse without you here."
"Andrew! You said something nice." She teased. Their B&B was a large bright room with it's own bathroom, hot plate and mini-fridge. "This is nice." Andrew stood in the doorway and checked his watch.
"Mulligan wants you to come by the pub."
"I know, I've heard." He'd been calling her every day this week.
"Also, Brucey wants to meet if you had time before you leave." He checked his watch again, "Well I have one more client meeting before I go home, I'll see you guys later."
"Hey thanks for the ride Andrew." Crawford said and opened his computer on the bed and Olivia went outside after Andrew.
"I'd like to see Kiki, when he is at the gym?"
He paused at the door of his sedan, "I don't know, he's all over, my ass got booted before the ink dried on the paperwork."
"Okay." She went back in the room, "I'm going to go see Kiki, do you want to come?"
His eyes never left his computer screen, "I have to get this in by one love, sorry."
She pulled on a heavy scarf and wrapped it around her neck, "No worries, I won't be long." She kissed his head and left, strolling slowly through the old familiar streets, waving at people she'd known her whole life, tightening her jacket against the freezing wind, she rounded a blind corner and almost smashed into someone.
"Hey!" She caught herself and then frowned, seeing it was Ronan. "Oh hey Ronan."
She could tell that she was the last person he expected to see, his eyes narrowed.
"What are you doing here?" His immediate anger surprised her.
"Visiting for Christmas, left your present in the dumpster." She snapped responding to his hostility and he snarled at her.
"You should have stayed in California you cheating, backstabbing bitch." That did it, fire and anger roared inside.
"I feel so sorry for you Ronan, you are a pathetic follower." She watched his fists clench and raise up. "You want to hit me? Oh please try." She egged him on childishly. He smiled evilly.
"Oh I'd love to, but we both know he'd kill me. After everything you've done and are still doing he loves you, loves you so damn much."
"Come on, come at me Ro, it'll be fun." She gently shoved him in the chest, but then took a step back, "You're not even worth it." She laughed and walked away, adrenaline filled her to the top.
"He was happy with her, for a minute, but you ruined that too!" He yelled to her back. She kept walking though she wanted to turn around and flatten him. Before going in, she peeked through the window of the gym, she saw PJ and Johnnie at the counter and a lone patron on the treadmill, she burst in smiling.
"Hello boys!" They froze for a second then ran around the counter and gave her big hugs.
"I didn't know you were coming." PJ sat back down.
"It was kind of last minute, how are you?"
"Well John finally got a girlfriend." PJ punched his brother in the shoulder.
