Her, Benny and Kevin were in a row, Ronan and Mark were a little further up on the plane. "I hired security, some guys Mulli knows." She said through a yawn.
Kevin scoffed and Benny looked mad, "That's expensive." She yawned again.
"He's dirty and I don't trust him in or out of the ring." The yawns kept coming.
"We have a while, why don't you try and sleep." Benny pulled up the arm rest between them and Olivia curled around his arm. It wasn't good sleep, but it was rest enough.
They had a decent room at the Bellagio, it was actually one two-story suite they were all sharing, that way the cost wasn't too much for any of them.
"The press conference is at eight tomorrow and the fight is at four, press is already here. Gotta go out tonight and be seen, do some interviews." Kevin had his phone out.
Benny was exploring the hotel room, "No interviews." He said closing the door of the mini-fridge. Olivia shot spears at Kevin with her eyes, he backed off after that. She'd already met with the small security team and told them of her worries.
"HEY! There's a pub off the strip a little bit that does your people's hippy food." Ronan yelled from upstairs. She sighed, these two were like bad teenagers. Benny was starting to shift into his mode. He spent most of his time with headphones on. She checked what press was there and the layout of the stadium inside the casino, plus what hotel Tony was staying at.
"Liv, dinner." Mark whistled from the balcony. She changed into a semi-fancy dark red dress with a plunging backline and high-heels. She just threw some mascara on and ran a brush through her hair. Benny had on a nice pair of blue jeans, a collared polo shirt and a fresh shave, he looked good.
"Where did you get that dress?" His eyes bugged out of his head.
"Lola, that girl from Women's Health in Miami got if for me, you like it?" He twirled her around, "I do, I don't know if I like other people seeing you in it." He pulled the back up and it slipped right back down, she held his face, his worried eyes.
"Don't you worry about it, focus on the fight, on winning, on staying safe." She kissed him lightly, then harder, gripping the collar of his polo shirt, fear took her over.
"Babe." He pulled back, eyes on fire and patted her butt, "Don't tempt me, I'm bursting already." Olivia reached up and wiped lip gloss from the corner of his mouth, "Sorry."
Security picked them up in a black SUV and guided them through the sea of paparazzi. The pub was Ireland in Vegas, fiddles hummed in the background and they brought out the vegan menu for them. A lot of looks came their way. Everyone got water, "I'm not fighting, why can't I have a beer?" Ronan frowned and Kevin threw a fork at him. She got a Shepard pie and Benny got a corned "beef" sandwich. He was quiet as she watched him. They ate and left, the press was outside, she hated this part of it, the hype, the vultures, the drama. They went into the Bellagio casinos to play a few slots and she excused herself to the restroom. On her way back a tall man with square glasses and slicked back hair stopped her in the big carpeted hallway. "Olivia Granger?"
she froze. "Anthony Gordetti with Vegas Times." He flashed a press pass at her, "Can I have a word with you?"
"No, you cant, excuse me." She rushed past him.
"Can you comment on rumors that records may be coming up about you and Benny Hagen abandoning your baby as teenagers?"
Her step faltered for a moment, but she didn't turn around, how in the hell did he know? She kept walking with her heart and stomach in her throat. She would tell security about him and to keep him out of the morning press conference. Back in the hotel she was sitting in an epsom salt bath across from Benny, who was staring at her. She was looking at the wall past his head, pouring over Anthony Gordetti and how he had even known about the baby.
