The second I drop him my eyes go wide. "Steven no!" I crouch down, but his eyes are already closed.
Greg runs to Steven and checks his pulse. "It's slow." He says shakily. "I-I'm sorry.. I didn't-" Amethyst walks up to me angrily. "Why!? Why would you do that?! If you hadn't come here Steven would be fine! He would be sitting on the couch, eating some soup. And maybe he would've felt a bit stronger, but now! We don't know!"
I look up at her. My eyes watering. "I-I didn't know he- I-" she crouches down and looks me in the eyes. "Of course! The great Garnet doesn't know how to own up to anything! Look! Look at him! You did this!"
I turn away, tears coming out of my eyes. She scoffs and pulls out her whip. "Amethyst! Stop! This isn't what Steven wants!" Pearl says.
Amethyst turns to her. "Steven can't see this can he?" She turns back to me. Pearl picks up Steven and lays him on the couch.
Amethysts whip wraps around me and she pulls. I fall to the ground. "Fight back! Coward!" She yells.
I shake my head. Tears still coming out of my eyes. "Gahhhhh!" She screams angrily. "Fight!" She whips me. "Back!" She does it again. "Stop this!" Pearl screams. I shut my eyes tightly. A strong urge to unfuse surrounds me and I give in.
