Spreading Emotions (Au)

Garnet Pov

I clench my fists. "I. Will. Shatter her!" I whisper angrily. I feel Pearls hand on my shoulder. "Garnet, please." I whip around angrily. "We're going in. Now." I say strictly. Everyone nods and we head carefully to the front of the cave like mountain.

When we get there, we see the two Jaspers guarding the entrance. "Amethyst. You turn into a bird and fly around the other side. Silently poof that Jasper. Make sure it's silent." I whisper. "Pearl. You take this one with your spear. Again, silently." They nod and go off.

Soon both of them return. "Is it done?" They nod. "Lets go." We open the door and surprisingly it's locked. "I don't like this.." Connie whispers. I nod.

We continue on until we hear a yell from above us. I pull out my glove. I feel a heavy weight drop on me, but my future vision saw this and I punch them in the face. They fall off and Connie poofs them. "Nice job."

I bubble the Jasper and send it off. We hear some running ahead of us. A bunch of Jaspers and Amethysts are heading straight towards us. "Pull out your weapons!" I scream, and suddenly we're hit by the wave of gems.

All of us are fighting at least two gems. I poof one, and then the other. I hear a few more poofs and I blindly punch all the Jaspers I can see. Soon we're left with only us. "Wait, where's Pearl?" Amethyst asks.

I look around, then look down. My heart drops. I pick up her gem. "We're gonna have to wait for her to come back. If she's not back soon, we have to go on without her. Suddenly her gem lights up in my hand. "Nevermind" I sigh.

Her form glows and she's back. "Let's go get Steven!" She says and smiles. I nod and we all continue on.

Soon we come across a door and we open it. There's a tall orange gem talking to a few Jaspers. It looks like a fuse between a Jasper and a Holly Blue Agate.

A sneer comes across my face. That must be Citrine. Suddenly, one of the Jaspers notices us. "Hey!" She yells. The Jaspers run towards us, while the Citrine unlocks a large door and steps in, locking it behind her.

I scream and slam my fist down on a Jasper, poofing it instantly. My eyes are blurred with anger and I lash out at all the Jaspers.

Everyone looks at me in shock. I bubble them and send them all off. "Let's poof that Citrine!" I yell in anger and try to open the door, but it's locked. "Urgh!" I try to bust it down with my gloves, but it's too much.

I can hear Steven whimpering in fear inside of the room. I collapse at the bottom and my gloves disappear. I silently cry. "Garnet..." Connie puts her hand on my shoulder. "You're not alone."

I look up and she's smiling down at me. "We can all do this. Together." I nod and stand up. I get on my biggest gloves, Pearl gets out her spear, Amethyst gets out her whip, and Connie her sword.

We all bang on the door, until finally it gives way. It falls to the ground, and a cloud of dust forms.

Once the dust dies down, we see Steven in the air, crying, chained up, and trying to squirm out of Citrines grasp. I then notice she's holding a knife... to his neck. "Guys! Save yourse-" She cuts him off by lightly pressing the knife against his neck, making him tilt his head farther back. She smirks. "I knew I'd be seeing you soon Crystal Gems."
