Kirsty's POV:
I was in a good mood today, the lovely winter sun was shining through every window making every surface sparkle. There were no clouds in the sky, the paths were dry and not covered in the aftermath of British showers, it was a lovely Sunday afternoon. This atmosphere made me feel super productive, I had taken Vogue out for a long walk through the woods with Jack, I had finished off some editing which I had been putting off for ages and now I had moved on to the loveliest of household chores was doing the washing up. I wasn't going to use the dishwasher, I was doing it by hand today. I had One Direction's Midnight Memories album playing through the speakers which gave me even more of an energy boost to get the washing done. I realised that I had no washing up gloves that were clean, some were very old and mould was starting to grow in them, nasty stuff. But I had a new pack of sponges to use, I rolled my sleeves up and poured the washing up liquid into the sink which was filling with warm water. Bubbles started forming so I duncked the first dish into it and began scrubbing.

I was humming along happily, coincidentally to the song Happily and bopping along as I scrubbed up the plates. I DON'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY WHEN WE'RE TOGETHER, YOU KNOW I WANNA BE THE ONE TO HOLD YOU WHEN YOU SLEEP. I JUST WANT IT TO BE YOU AND I FOREVER! I KNOW YOU WANNA LEAVE SO C'MON BABY BE WITH ME, SO HAPPILY. I sung in my head as if I was belting it out at Wembley stadium.

"Look at you, shaking them hips!" I heard Jack say enthusiastically as he entered the kitchen, he hugged me from behind and shook his hips in time with mine. Getting in close, you know what I'm saying?

"Hold it Lover Boy, this isn't Dirty Dancing." I laughed, even though Patrick Swayze got nothing on him.

"No, but it is dirty dishes apparently. Babe, we have a magical chore machine for a reason." Jack said referring to the dishwasher.

"I know but I wanted to feel productive and had nothing better to do, so." I said as I continued scrubbing a plate that was covered in spaghetti sauce.

"You could lie down with me and we could take a nap, I'm tired and need a snuggle buddy." Jack said grabbing my soapy hand and trying to pull me away from the sink.

"Fine, let me finish up and then I'm all yours." I said.

"Okay then, I'll wait here for a minute." Jack said hopping up on the counter and sitting there, kicking his feet out. I turned back to the sink and went to grab another dish from under the water. THING, SHARP THING, KNIFE!

"Owie, I just cut myself on a knife!" I said as I pulled my hand out the water to see what damage I have caused to my finger, to be honest it was only a small knife prick but who knows I might bleed.

"What have you done to yourself?" Jack asked as he pulled my wrist out towards him to take a look, it was on my index finger where the stinging sensation was.

"That doesn't look too bad, just a little nip. I'll get you a plaster, here, take this tea towel and dry your hand. I'll finish the washing up later." Jack said passing me the tea towel from the counter, I held it to my finger as he went to go get the first aid kit from the medicine cabinet. I took a little look, it was bleeding quite a lot. I know I over exaggerate a bit but I was only pricked and not that deep either, I didn't know whether or not to be too concerned. Despite Jack telling me to dry my hand, I went to the rinser and held my finger under it to let it flow out into the water. He came up behind me and looked at the cut.

"Hasn't it stopped bleeding?" He asked, I shook my head. There was a lot of blood, too much blood for a cut that size. Jack couldn't put a plaster on yet until my finger was as dry as possible and cleaned out. I put the tea towel back on, it was becoming damper and damper with blood! I started to feel kinda lightheaded, kinda dizzy. I stumbled into Jack as I tried to reach for the counter.

"Woah, Kirsty! Are you alright?" Jack asked as he held me up, I shook my head. I didn't feel right.

"F-Feel weird." I said feeling a bit confused all of a sudden.

"Umm, okay. Sit down here for a second, I think I'm going to call 111, we might need to take you to hospital. Poor little Squish." Jack said as he caressed my cheek before sitting me down on a bar stool he just pulled up, he grabbed his phone out his pocket and rang up the operators. I laid my head on the counter, I felt really tired and my vision was becoming pretty blurry. I could hear the background noise of Jack on the phone but I was just focused on not bleeding everywhere.

"I've spoken to the operators, they think it's best for you to get checked out at the hospital." Jack said, I lifted my head up weakly and nodded. I held the tea towel to my finger and shuffled back onto my feet, I felt Jack's arm wrap around my waist and he held me up. I hobbled out to the car and Jack helped me into the front seat, I felt so weak now. I leaned my head against the window and closed my eyes as Jack got ready to drive.

"Kirsty, please try and stay awake Baby Girl." Jack said as I felt him rub my arm, I tried to keep my eyes open, resisting the urge to close them but it was so hard. I couldn't see straight anymore, my whole body felt drained.

"Kirsty...Kirsty we're at the hospital." Jack said as I felt my body being shaken, it just made me feel even more dizzy. The car door opened and Jack was trying to help me out.

"Can you stand?" Jack asked concerned, I tried to put some weight onto my feet but I didn't have the strength at all.

"I-I c-can't." I cried, I was scared. The tea towel was soaked and I didn't feel right! Jack gave me an awkward hug and tried to pull me up from it, by that point the lightheaded feeling overtook me and I felt myself go limp in his arms.

Huh? Where the hell was I? My eyes wondered around, I appeared to be in a hospital bed, possibly on a ward. I looked further to the side and saw Jack sitting on a chair.

"J-Jackie?" I said tiredly, he looked up and straight away leaned forward and kissed my forehead.

"Oh Baby, you're awake. Are you feeling alright?" He asked me.

"My head hurts, my finger feels tight." I said.

"That's because they put a bandage on it, the doctor managed to stop the bleeding but apparently you have a genetic condition called Haemophilia. It means your body can't make blood clots so that's why your cut was bleeding so much." Jack explained, I looked down at my finger and saw the white bandage that was wrapped around it.

"Well isn't that a kick in the dick!" I said loudly, I immediately regretted it as it just my headache worse.

"Aww Babe, don't worry about it. The doctor said you should try your best to cut your on sharp objects and keep up good oral hygiene to avoid bleeding gums and stuff, it'll be fine." Jack said pulling me close to him, I nuzzled my face into his chest and sighed. This is not how I hoped the day would turn out, with me in the hospital, but I was later discharged that same day and Jack got me in bed surrounded by a bunch of pillows. He made me a little nest to keep me safe, he suggested wrapping me in bubble wrap but I gave that a miss. At least now I never have to do the washing up again. Te He.
