Kirsty's POV:
It was the summer holidays, my family had planned to go away to Ireland for two weeks, it was much cheaper than a beach holiday to somewhere like Spain but it still should be fun. We had flown in last night, it was now the morning and the weather looked really nice. The sun was out and it was pretty warm out, I put on a shirt and some denim shorts, I kept my hair naturally wavy and put on some lighter makeup than I normally would, it was going to be a long say of walking in the sun so I didn't want it to run. Once I finished getting ready, I went for breakfast with my family before we decided to go exploring in Dublin. I loved looking at all the little shops that seemed to have been there for decades, I saw many pubs around which was honestly to be expected and the cobble was so pretty. I looked around the shops with my sister whilst our parents decided to stop for drinks. We were walking past the train station when I heard someone singing, a Male voice, an angelic voice. The lyrics of Castle On The Hill by Ed Sheeran escaped his lips, I turned round to look at him. He was so cute! He was stood outside the station with his guitar case open at his feet, he was even playing the guitar. I couldn't help but stare at him, his hair was in an upward swoosh and he wore a red lumberjack shirt with black skinny jeans.

"Oooooh Kirsty!" My sister said elbowing me in the ribs, not enough to hurt me but hard enough to receive a message.

"What?" I said, trying not to acknowledge the fact that I found him the cutest boy alive.

"You totally think he's cute." She said, I bit my lip and looked over at him again. He was wrapping up his song.

"We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill! Over the castle on the hill, over the castle on the hill." He sang, his voice sounding so gentle near the end. I clapped my hands for him, giving him the applause he deserved as literally no other member of the public clapped for him. He looked up from his guitar and saw me clapping, I noticed he winked at me. I giggled, blushing as I turned my face away.

"Go give him a couple of euros and say hello, go on." My sister encouraged as she pushed me further towards him. It would be awkward to turn back so I continued to make my eat over to him, getting my money out of my purse. I dropped a couple euros into his guitar case, I was shy enough to not look him in the eye straight away.

"Thank you so much, gorgeous." He said, oh my God, I might actually cry.

"You're welcome." I replied.

"Nice accent, are you from England?" He asked me.

"Yeah, I'm out here with my family for two weeks." I told him.

"I hope you enjoy your visit, but just keep in mind that it doesn't get any warmer than this. This isn't exactly the Maldives." He told me, I laughed. This wasn't the typical place someone would suggest for a holiday.

"Yeah, I gathered. It was nice meeting you?" I said, I didn't exactly know his name.

"Jack, Jack Duff. And you?" Jack said holding out a hand for me to shake, I accepted his handshake straight away.

"Kirsty, Kirsty Addison." I replied, I could see my sister in the corner of my eye watching us both.

"Anyway, I have to go. Bye Jack." I said about to turn around and leave.

"Bye Kirsty, maybe I'll see you around." Jack said as I walked back to my sister. Maybe, just maybe.

"Aww, what's his name?" My sister asked.

"Jack Duff, he's really nice." I told her as we carried on walking up the street, I could hear Jack start to play another song on guitar. I just wanted to run back to him and listen to him play all day, but that was just a silly fantasy. I was never going to see him again.
