you embraced your best friend, slightly lifting her off the ground as you tightened the hug. you'd both nuzzled into each other's hair. taking in the familiar scents as your childhood memories rolled back like nostalgia.
"jesus you 2 saw each other last week" Charli commented making you both chuckle as you pulled away
"i missed you so much though" you smiled
"feels like 2 years" Dixie added
"more like 2 life times ago!" you added making her laugh at your extra ness
"before we get going, i have to introduce you" She said
"yeah, i was starting to believe we were just chopped liver" A boy with long hair commented from the large vehicle
Dixie began to introduce you to Bryant, the photographer. tony and ondreaz lopez, the dancing brothers. Addison, her other best friend, Bryce, Chase, Maddie, Anthony, Avani and Taylor.
"Nice to meet you Taylor" You smiled at the gorgeous boy
"The pleasure is all mine" Taylor said flashing you his smile
you looked down at your feet when he did, hoping that the furious burning of your cheeks wasn't visible or caught anyone's attention
"If we wanna get to the mall before nightfall i suggest we get a move on" Ondreaz yelled making everyone pile into the car
"oh, you can sit inbetween Taylor and myself" Dixie added

The entire ride you focused on the rest of the conversation, not diverting your attention to Taylor in any way in fear that you might say, or do something out of the ordinary and embarrass yourself in any way
"So we're on our way to the mall!" Taylor said to his phone camera "and we have a new member to the house party"
You looked to see his phone directed at you, making you bury your face in your palms

"awww come on, everybody else wants to see your pretty face" Taylor egged on making you blush even more

"a 5 year old stuck in an 18 year olds body" Dixie laughed
once you arrived at the mall you all made your separate ways to diffarent stores, agreeing to meet at the food court at 3pm sharp for a united lunch. You and the girls made your way to forever 21, picking out a bunch of clothes before making your way to the changing rooms to try them on
"so, how are you liking everyone so far?" Maddie asked from her room
"you guys are all so fricken amazing, and hype! like i aspire to be as hype as you guys are" you answered
"you're just as hype" Avani added
"no, i'm crackhead, there is a difference" you said walking out to show them the dress you'd picked out
"i like it! and it works with your legs as well!" Charli commented from the couches
"So before anything, who's into who and who's in a relationship" You asked retreating to change
"so Maddie has a man, who you're yet to meet" Avani said
"Avani liked Anthony" Dixie says
"and Anthony likes Avani" Maddie adds

"Oh i've seen your tiktoks together, you both look like you have a lot of chemistry together" You smile going to sit next to charli

"but we can't be together because of our ages" Charli says quickly
"honey" you say looking at her "age ain't nothing but a number!" you sing making the girls laugh

"the feds care" Dixie adds also walking out
"yeah, she's 16 and he's 18" Avani says
"they only care if they have sex, and they won't because Charli is a child of god, right C-dog?" you say nudging Charli
"yes, now can we change the topic this is getting uncomfortable" she says
"lol, let's pay and go indulge in some lingerie ladies" Addison smiles
"AND ADDISON LIKES BRYCE!" Charli rats
"HEY!" Addison says making us all laugh
