"damn i gotta keep reminding myself that you swallowed a basketball" Mattia laughed walking into the house
"hey don't insult the pregnant lady!" Kairi said flicking his ear
"see this is why i like Kai more than you" i said kissing Kai's cheek
"Melody! can you help me with the food please honey" My mom yelled from the kitchen
"you sure you want that Mrs R? last time we had lasagna we had to post pone because she had half the cheese disappear" Mattia said playfully
"i swear ma, Mattia's jokes are going to end him" i said walking into the kitchen
my mom laughed before turning around to look at me.
"i didn't think you'd get this big so quickly" she said smiling
"okay ma, i'm fat. i get it!" i sighed
"no baby, you're carrying my first grandchild in there. you look absolutely amazing. you're glowing" she said
"oh no ma now i'm going to cry" i said letting the tears fall
my mom chuckled a bit before hugging me and wiping under my eyes with the pads of her thumbs
"honestly i've always known you would be the first to give me a grandchild but you made me granny sooner than i hoped" she joked
"hey! i'm a mom and i'm not legal enough to have wine!" i said
"why would you have wine?" she laughed
"you always have it when Ale gets in trouble" i said
she looked at me in horror making me laugh. Life at home wasn't as bad as i thought it would be honestly
