I woke up the next day to 3 texts from an unknown number

i think you already knew that, i'm sorry. Uhm, can you meet at Starbucks today so that i can give you your thing back and also so i can tell you about the killer story???
I sighed before texting a quick "okay :), 3pm good?" and throwing my phone on my unmade bed. I ran my hands through my hair before going to the bathroom. i looked at my reflection, i had bags underneath my eyes and my face was still puffy from last nights crying.
I began my skin routine, washing myself and putting on some casual attire. It was 9am so it was at least 6 hours before i had to meet Sam but then again another 6 hours in the house with Tayler.
I braved myself before going downstairs to breakfast. Funny enough everyone was awake and ready to go for the day. I sat next to Addison who whispered if i was okay, i gave her a small nod before greeting everyone at the table
"So we have an agenda today, there's a water park downtown and i thought we could have a family outting today" Thomas asked walking in with the fresh pancakes
"Oh snap, hard pass, i have a date with Anthony today" Avani confessed making the girls look at her "a completely platonic date"
"platonic my ass" Charli mumbled
"we'll have to discuss your associations with the sway house later" Thomas eyed
"Yeah, i'll have to raincheck on that one as well, i have a meet and greet set up today" Addison said "it may or may not be with Bryce"
"honestly is this entire house fucking the sway house?" Thomas said defeated
"You're gonna hate me but i have something today as well" i said chewing my lip
"jesus christ please don't tell me you and griffin-
"oh god no! he's my brother" i laughed "i have to starbucks meet up"
"ouu with who?" Dixie asked
"well if you must know, it's with Sam" i smiled "platonic of cause"
"Wait, sam as in Sam Hurley?" Avani asked
"never caught his surname" i shrugged taking a bite off my food
Avani pulled her phone out before typing a couple things and showing me a picture. It was the exact same guy i had spoken to last night.
"so you're the mystery girl he was talking about in his story" Dixie smirked making me choke on my food
"oh no, definitely not" i coughed
Tayler got up and walked upstairs, making me roll my eyes
"what's his problem" Thomas mumbled
"girl problems" Chase whispered
"that girl is right here" i yelled
"hey don't shoot the messenger" Chase said raising his hands
"fyi he ended things with me so i don't know why he's being salty" i sighed
"don't lose sleep over him" Dixie said waving him off
"i'm going to get ready for my absolutely platonic date with sam" i smiled getting up and hopping upstairs

Sam Hurley is 16..... so if you were born in 2003 like myself- you are ugly because god used all his beautiful on people like Sam, Alejandro, Payton, Jason and Joe.
