I woke up the next morning curled up at the door. I stretched, the memories from last night coming back like a train crashing into my brain. I held the tears back as i got ready for the long day i was having today
"Hey Mel, you okay honey?" Dixie asked as i stepped down from the stairs
"yeah, thanks for checking" i smiled hugging her "anyways, i've got a photo shoot today, i'll see you all later"
"see ya" everyone answered
I opened the door to see Tayler standing there about to open the door himself. I looked over him and brushed past him, not a word said. I ignored his calls for my name and hopped into my uber and left.
Arriving at the venue, i was given a complimentary starbucks before being directed to my trailer. I sat in the hair chair as the stylist began her work on my hair, Tayler was spamming my phone with texts making me scoff
"Someone's avoiding a problem" my stylist, Diamond, said
"that's not even the surface of it" i sighed
"okay girl, what's up?" she said combing my curls out
"last week was the first time me and my boyfriend had sex-
"congrats" she smiled
"thank you" i smiled back "and i started getting sick"
"oh no"
"right!" i commented "so my best friend made me take a test but it came out negative so i didn't see why i should tell him"
"makes sense" she shrugged
"well then he found the test and i overheard him telling his friend that he didn't want to have kids with me!"
"asshole!"
"right! who dates to waste time?!"
"boys" she said snapping her fingers "honestly, confront him, hear about what he has to say and get it off your chest. if you keep ignoring him and the problem it'll only get worse. like leaving meat in the sun"
"but that's beef jerky" i said
"no, that's rotten meat" she said
She popped on the last clip before patting my shoulders and telling me where to go next. I gave her a smile and thanked her before moving onto the make up artist.
on my way my phone started to vibrate
