Once i'd dressed, the girls and myself made our way downstairs to the lobby where the boys were waiting for us.
"honestly you could have taken any more longer" Anthony groaned
"we can go back and take longer you know?" Mads said
"no! no! thank god you're here blah blah blah you're all amazing now food" Ondreaz said pushing us towards the shuttle
I giggled and sat myself next to Tayler who gave me a small hug and a kiss on the forehead
"i missed you this morning" i mumbled into his shirt
"mmh, i'm sorry, i had a meeting with the guys and i didn't wanna wake you because you looked so cute" he smiled "plus i heard you wake up last night, we're you okay?"
"uhh, yeah. i'm amazing" i smiled
Tayler looked at my face for a moment, as if he was scanning me for any sort of lie. If this was a cartoon you would see the sweat coming down my forehead from all the nerves
"Oh okay" he said kissing my forehead again "as long as my angel is okay, i'm okay"
we pulled up to the iHop and piled out. Once we were seated everyone began ordering. I ordered some pulled pork and waffles with a side of coslaw making everyone look at me weird
(idk if iHop has those, i've literally never been)
"what?" i asked handing the waitress the menu
"it's just no one has ever ordered lunch during breakfast" Nick said
"concider it brunch" i smiled sipping my apple juice
We sat around talking, the occasional picture and video as we laughed at something stupid Mattia said.
"you deadass used to chase frogs as a kid?" Tayler laughed
"yeah, i used to think they were the most banging thing out there" he said "but they always hopped away from me"
"tbh i'd hop away from you too" i laughed
"words can hurt!" Mattia said fake pouting making us all laugh some more
The waitress interrupted by bringing a cart of our food. She set mine in front of me and immediately it smelt off. I made a face that only Jaden noticed
"hey you good?" he asked
"yeah, it's just this smells off" i said
"lemme smell" Chase said grabbing my plate "smells good to me"
"lemme try" Bryce said "nope, nothing"
"probably just me then" i shrugged
i grabbed my cutlery and proceeded to dig it. The first bite that touched my tongue immediately set off a chain reaction in my stomach causing me to gag
"Melody, you sure you okay you look a bit pale" Ale said from across the table
"yeah i just- i need to go to the bathroom" I said quickly running to the ladies
I sat in the nearest cubical and let my mouth open, my stomach contents coming out again.
"Mel, baby?" Dixie said knocking on the door
"first one" i said
Dixie opened the door, a small smile on her face as she handed me something in a wrapped napkin. I looked up at her before unwrapping it.
"Dixie" i said warningly
"please, just take it" she said pushing it into my hand
