"Tayler i swear on my mother if you pour that syrup on me i'm fighting you" I yelled at the boy holding the maple syrup bottle aimed at me
By this time we'd been back from having the worlds most fluffiest pancakes and i had been avoiding being alone with the girls because i knew they'd bombard me with questions about Tayler and i, and to be honest the questions weren't the scary part? the answers were
i had no idea what to say if anyone asked me what had been happening between the 2 of us. as far as i was concerned we were just friends but to others we looked like a couple..... oh god, we were those kind of friends.
plus i didn't know how to explain to them that Tayler grabbed my thigh James' thing, called me pretty and has been "babygirl this" and "babygirl that".
"too late!" Tayler yelled as he squirt the bottle on me
"oh it's on!" i said chasing him "hey! unfair slow down my stubby legs can't keep up!"
"oops!" Tayler smiled turning around
before i knew it he had me over his shoulder.
"put me down!" i yelled in defeat
"we're gonna go shower gosh!" he said instantly shutting me up
Did he just say "we"?
He put me down on the counter, standing in between my legs. The air was thick with a kind of sexual tension as Tayler slowly began leaning in, i followed his lead
"Hey Tayler can we talk to Melody" Dixie said from the door making me jump
"uh- sure" he stuttered walking out quickly
i jumped off the counter and straightened my shirt.I turned to look at myself in the mirror, i was flushed.
"you wanna explain what that was?" Avani asked
"Just 2 friends about to take a shower together" you shrugged
"what kind of friends shower together?!" Mads asked
"kinda looked like you 2 were about to kiss" Dixie said leaning on the counter
"Maybe" i mumbled
"Jesus Mel, just tell the boy you like him already so you 2 can date!" Dixie yelled
"Shut up!" i hushed "and no, i shoot my shot and i always miss, he doesn't like me, he's just flirting until he finds a prettier girl to get into bed with and date and possibly marry okay!" i snapped

"no okay!" i said storming out and making my way to my room where i slammed the door shut
