I made my way downstairs wearing a flowery maxi dress and some sandals, Tayler met me downstairs wearing something casual
"you look like an absolute dream" he said kissing my hand
"and you look like my prince charming" i smiled giving him a kiss
"okay let's save that for outside with pictures" Avani said ushering us outside
Outside everyone sat on garden chairs with 2 big balloons floating in the centre. I smiled before walking up to them. Anthony handed us 2 big needles before Avani spoke
"Okay so we are gathered here today for the gender reveal of my best friends baby" she said "now Anthony gave you 2 needles to pop the balloons with. now if you could do that at the count of 3"
I nodded before looking at Tayler who looked like a kid in a candy store. As Avani counted we pulled back to poke the balloons and as expected they popped on impact i looked down expecting a cloud of colourful dust but a piece of paper sat at our feet
"what is this" i asked
"read the damn paper" Avani said
"Go to where you and daddy made me, to find out what i am" i said reading the paper
"is this a joke?" Tayler asked
"nope. Go now!" Avani said
Tayler and I sighed before going up to my bedroom, on top of my bed was another paper
"dammit, i mean the oven" the note read
I sighed before we went to the kitchen. I opened the oven and well enough there were 2 buns. I grabbed a knife and sliced it open to reveal a blue interior
"It's a boy!" i yelled as Tayler picked me up and twirled me around. He gave me a kiss before putting me down
"wait what's the other one for?" i asked Dixie
she shrugged and told me to try slicking it open. I did and inside was a letter
"you might wanna look behind you mommy" it read
I looked at it confused before turning around to see Tayler in his knee.
"Melody Rosario, damn we've gone through the most. From absolutely hating each other to disappearing for a whole week, arguments, hospitalisation and now you're carrying my child. I have lost you twice and i don't ever wanna go through that again now there's only one way i can make sure you stay mine forever. Will you make me the most elated man on this planet and marry me?" he asked
I had tears streaming down my eyes as all cameras pointed in my direction
"Yes! a thousand times yes!"
