"Please go out with me!"...
So the reason for (L/N) to ask to meet me after school today was because of this...
A confession.
If I had to be completely honest... I already knew to some degree she liked me, and I have been suspecting this for a while too. Sometimes I could feel her staring at me in class which was quite off-putting – thats the reason why I'm not way too surprised about this confession.
I'm certain that this whole thing began a fairly long time ago where she has presumably started taking a liking towards when I was the one who sat next to her on the bus during the long journey back from our school trip home.
But that was only because all the other seats where taken.
I did end up talking to her a little bit and engaged in some conversations but I remember falling asleep through the rest of journey home. But after a few weeks or months from that day, she evidently changed around me (certain changes depending on how much I interact with her).
(L/N) acted so much more differently around me than other people. I don't know whether she had noticed herself but her body language is what made everything obvious that she had some sort of appeal for me; ranging from how she talks to how she moves around me, all being a little messier than usual. Because of me, it feels like she stutters more, she's clumsy and she's just awkward in general. I'm not the only one who noticed her behavior, Osamu noticed as well of course once I pointed it out.
And the whole volleyball team might knows of this situation too somewhat since I've mentioned her to them maybe twice. However, in the end, I never really thought about it much, nor did they, so ultimately we all forgot about the issue.
Conclusively, let's say (L/N) has always been one of the more...more casual girls I've met as in she's not too outgoingly bold. Subsequently I don't really pay attention to her.
But despite this, I still think she's a moderately reliable classmate. When it comes to studying or homework, she is one of the first people in my class we would run too and she helps without any complaints.
I think its great! Her work is always good quality and she gets good grades too (well grades that are better than mine).
Additionally, I assume that (L/N) is the type of person that also likes keeps to herself. She seems to be nice and tries her best in everything, I would think so.
Dating and relationships are nothing new to me. I've dated quite a few girls in the past, though many all ended in failure. All the relationships I've had were similar, which is probably the main reason why they never lasted long and why I began to lose interest in finding someone...
Clingy and easily jealous girlfriends. They can get annoying and difficult to deal with. But (L/N) on the other hand...
She could be a change and I could try her out...
I never really thought of (L/N) other than a classmate that sits behind me and also nice enough to help me with homework at times. And I don't really talk to her too much either as well as us never hanging out before. If it isn't too obvious, I have never seen her romantically too.
So even if I date her, I don't think it will even last that long.
Then again, it doesn't stop my curiosity. A new type of relationship means new experiences, right? So why not give it a go.
"Sure."
"Huh? Wait really-" her face shifts to shock. (I'm guessing she was expecting me to reject her or so)
"Yeah on a couple of conditions"
"Okay, what are they?"
"You can only call me or text me once a day. That's all. Okay?" I smile at her.
"Oh okay. I will make sure to do that," she says back.
Strange girl, she agreed instantly without much thought at all.
"Okay then we're official," I say.
