It has been around three days since that event. But it's still annoyingly engraved in my head.

"Well then. I've told you mine, when will you tell me yours?" I said, changing the subject to her.

(L/N)'s smile falters, "Hmmm..."

"What? Who is it?" I ask.

After a solid three-second of silence, she finally responds.

"Kita-kun."

How many times have I been rambling about this now? I attempted to think nothing of it, ignoring the pointless thought bubbles the best I could.

But it simply wasn't working, and it clearly showed during today's Friday volleyball practice.

My moves were slower and I was frustratingly indecisive when setting.

In addition to that, every time I see Kita I have the demanding urge to hiss at him like a snake that just been stepped on.

I didn't want to know what happened exactly when they did...That or else I'll get hella pissed off.

We have nationals coming up in a week alongside with a one-week winter break, so I really need to get it together before we even head over to there because this sort of mindset just will not do.

"OoOoOh Atsumu-kun~ You're making the bench look so warm and toasty~" Suna loudly teases me across the court, wiggling his eyebrows, jazzily shaking his shoulders at the same time to me. I pull him a threatening look to which he responds with an ugly snarky grin.

Yes, due to my absolute shitty gameplay and attitude in this session, I have been asked to sit on the bench for now. I am not happy, but instead, more than pissed.

I click my tongue and yell at him in annoyance, "Shut up the hell up Suna SHIT FACE!!"

"Language." Aran scolds, snapping his head to my direction.

I grumble in distaste,  feeling extra petty today. Especially since everyone on the team is playing a game, except me. I wanted to throw a tantrum.

"10 Minutes break!!" Coach Kurosu shouts after a finished practice game. He was right next to me on the bench and my eardrums almost split in half. I drew air between my teeth as a coping mechanism.

"Atsumu, I hope you have settled a bit more now, I suggest you go out to get some fresh air during this break to cool down." He says.

"No. I don't want to." I reply with my head up and arms crossed grumpily.

"Atsumu-san, go," Kita says, looking at me a stern gaze.

I silence myself, low-key in fear of my captain, and reluctantly stand up to take my short leave. I wanted to glare at Kita, but didn't want to prepare for the future consequences if I did.
