"So what do you think of me?" She says.
"I think you're the most amazing woman! Strong and independent! Powerful!"
(Y/N) laughs again, turning the page of the book she was reading.
"What about me then (Y/N)-chan? What do you think about me?" I also question, excitedly crossing my legs on the sofa.
"Well if you ask me that it can go on for ages and ages, it's like I could write a thousand-word essay."
"Ooh...Go on then..."
She pauses momentarily and speaks up again.
"To start off...You're immature, you're childish, you can't cook well, you make a mess in the kitchen whenever you do try to cook, you talk nonsense in the middle of the night when I want to go to sleep, you don't know how to do anything except volleyball, you can't-"
"No! Nice things only!" I sulk, mentally face-palming.
(Y/N) smiles and looks back at the pages of her book again to continue reading.
"I simply think you're the guy that makes me feel the most fortunate." She says, "Sometimes I'm afraid I'm not good enough for you, but somehow that makes me more appreciative."
With those words I went hushed and quietly smiled too, gently taking her hand in mine, feebly playing with the gold ring on her finger with my thumb.
I saw this new future.
And I think it's rather fun.
