I hope you guys are all safe, knowing the coronavirus thing going on, College here in the UK is going to be online by Monday so basically no classes but more updates hehe. I'm subtly holding a "I support coronavirus" sign because of it LOL
Jokes aside, please stay safe everyone! Make sure to wash your hands and be alert not anxious!
I felt like shit after that game with Karasuno, 2-1. A heap of frustration overwhelming my insides to the max. I couldn't stop replying the events.
We lost by a stupid point, and it was the worst type of win. The win where luck was on the opposite team's side. Karasuno got lucky with the last accidental point and that's the only thing I'm angry about. If they win, couldn't they win at least without the accidental point coming into the show? It just felt really unfair.
"Cheer up Atsumu-san! I thought looked super cool in that game!" She smiles to try and make me feel better, even pestering me earlier to buy food for dinner. I was tempted, honestly.
"Of course I looked cool, but we still lost!" I cross my arms in frustration and lean against the railing, "Damn those crows. We'll definitely crush them next year, I will stand by my words."
"Yes, yes good luck, I wish you the best." She pats my shoulder lightly trying her best to make me look more positive, her voice very hoarse.
I spotted (L/N) in the crowd with our school during that game. She was the one screaming her lungs out for the team at every point we scored, it made me feel more hyped than usual, but if only that didn't go to waste in the end.
We managed to meet up outside the court near the entrance area like last time and was currently discussing about the match and watching other matches from other schools in the upper viewing area away from the crowd.
I was glad (L/N) finally managed to watch a game, but was unsatisfied that we couldn't claim sweet victory."God. I almost cried watching. You all were so amazing I almost lost it." she says blowing out a heavy breath after, "Haha, it's like I want to play volleyball now too."
I snort, rolling my eyes at her, "You're absolutely crap at it though, you can't spike or even jump for the love of God."
"Yeah, I didn't say I play it good! I just said I want to do some!" (L/N) argues with an embarrassed face, "Well...Maybe with a bit of practice, I'll be as good as that Karasuno's number 10 haha."
I laugh, amused by her clumsy aspiration, her presence really started to make me feel lighter-hearted, "That's not gonna happen and you know that. But we can play together, maybe."
"I'm looking forward to it then!" She claps her hands excitedly,
"I bet you're gonna get angry again when you play," I say poking her cheek, "Last time we played you kicked the ball aggressively and claimed that it was broken."
"Ah, I did do that didn't I..."
I nod.
"Well, whatever! It shouldn't happen again, the past is in the past." She says with her head up, "I've probably improved now you know!"
I doubtfully raise my eyebrow and nod my head at her unlikely statement, "Uh-huh, yeah?"
She laughs, "Just you wait."
(L/N) was initially planning to stay a week in Tokyo but decided not too as she didn't want to spend too much money from the hotel expenses, so she leaves today. However, for us, we are staying an extra day or two to watch the games. It was like a challenge. I had to try my best and not get jealous or pissed with other players on the court when watching.
