"Mom?" I called from the hall. Mom hurried to the same room as I'm in. Great! She thinks I'm a psycho and she needs to worry about me. How great! Thank men! "What's up? Wait, where are you going?" she asked. "I'll run for a while, okay?" I asked. "But, but what about your ankle?" she asked. Oh! I've almost forgotten the ankle. "W-well, I have to try it." I said. "Isn't it too early?" she asked. I smiled at how she's worried about me. "No mom, I am already fine." I said, put my earphones on and waved her goodbye. I think that I forgot how good does running feel. It's like the bad thing can't follow me cause I am too fast. I am thinking about if I should go to the park too? What if one of them is there? It doesn't matter. I am strong, arent I? So I am currently jogging in the park. I can hear somebody screaming my name. No! It just illusion. "Lucy! Stop!" I heard again. I stopped and looked around. There are only children, parents, Marco's rude friend, some teenagers...Wait! His friend! I was staring at him while he was walking towards me. "Thanks for stopping!" he said and smiled. "W-where do you know me from?" I asked. He laughted. "I can remember you?" he said. "U-um okay." I said and started to look around if Marco's also here. "He's not here." he said. The fuck?! Can he read my mind? "Okay." I mumbled. Why is he even talking to me? "Can we sit for a moment? We need to talk." he said. "I think we have nothing to talk about. And I don't even know your name." I answered. "We do have something to talk about. There's Marco. And my name's Marcel. Nice to meet you." he said and smiled. Wait, where's the rude guy from café? "Lucy." I said and nodded my head a little. "I know. Marco can't stop talking about you." he said ans chuckled. He can't? Wait, remember the phone call Luc! "Oh, it didn't seem like it." I said and shook my head in disbelief. "I know what you mean. Won't we sit down? Please." he said. I nodded and followed him to the bench. "What did you mean by you know?" I asked curious. "I was there when he was talking to you on the phone." he said and looked like something is bothering him. "H-huh, then you know why I didn't want to talk. Do you know what did he told me?" I asked feeling my heart aching. Again. Unexpectable. "I do. And believe me or not, it's not how it looks like." he said shaking his head. "It's not? How is it then? Tell me!" I said trying to stay strong. "He loves you." he said and I shook my head once again. "He doesn't. Have you really heard that call?" I asked. "Listen and don't interrupt me please. Thanks. He loves you, he just doesn't want to mix you into the mess. He's afraind of you getting tired and bored of taking care of him, now when he's injured. He loves you, he just wants the best for you." he said and looked right into my eyes. Wait! What?! "I don't believe you. He was persuasive while telling me that he doesn't need me." I said coldly. "Are you with him? With Erik?" he asked. "Where do you know about Erik from?" I asked. "Marco told me. I've already told you that he can't stop talking about you, haven't I?" he said. Oh God. "No, I'm not with him. I can't be." I said and looked down on the ground. "Because you love Marco." he said and sounded confident. "Even if I do. It changes nothing about Marco not needing me."I said and looked from the ground into his eyes. "You're so stubborn! He loves you, you love him! Where's the problem?!" he half-screamed. "He has already hurt me! I don't need to get hurt again!" I said half-screaming too. "He did! I know! If he could change that he would! Believe me! He didn't call you! Okay, I take it. But you could have called him too! You didn't let him tell you the whole story! Did you? He was deep into work! This is part of his job! Before the match, I had spoken to him. Do you know what had he told me? That he wants to show off. That maybe you will forgive him! He loves you! Get it into your brain woman!" he screamed. I've relized it. I guess I just needed somebody to yell. I looked on the ground. It's true. I should have let him tell me the whole story. He could have text though, but he has had probably reason for not doing it."Still, what if he's saying the truth? What if he only tells you that he wasn't saying the truth that he doesn't need me, but he really doesn't need me." I asked. He sighed and looked away, then back at me. "The only thing I'll tell you is that he loves you. Don't you ever forget that." he said and I felt that he means it. "Are you going to see him soon?" I asked, not quite believing what I'm asking. He smiled and nodded. "I'm going now. Will you join me?" he asked smiling. I thought for a moment. "No. It's too early. But if I could get your number, to let you know when I'll come, would you mind?" I asked. "Sure. Give me your phone." he said and I handed him the phone. He gave me his number and gave me my mobile back. "Can I ask you a question?" I asked and he nodded unsure. "Where is the rude and self-important guy from the café?" I asked with a cheeky smile. He shook his head and smiled. "Nah, I've never been like that. I just wasn't in the mood to quarrel." he said. "Me neither!"I said and punched his shoulder. "We will become friends. I can feel it Lucy aka café girl." he said and I laughted. "I guess I should go. Continue the jogging before anybody will interrupt me again." I said and rolled my eyes. "Huh, but that interrupting was worth it, wasn't it?" he said and I nodded. It was. Absolutely. "Um, Marcel, could you not tell Marco about this? I have to make things clear in my head first." I asked and he nodded. "Thanks and bye friend." I said making a face while saying the word friend. He laughted and waved me. I jogged home. Okay, he loves me. He still loves me. But what about Erik? What now? I just can't figure it out.
Marco's POVI heared the front door being closed. "Hello hello." Marcel said and sat in front of me. What a good mood. Strange. He was leaving angry and now? He's all smiles. "Have you met anybody? You're smiling like teenager in love." I said annoyed. "Nah, nobody." he said and looked around. I know this. He has definitely met somebody. "Don't lie. Who was it?" I asked. "I promised I won't say anything." he said. Ouuh, he promised? "Okay then. But don't interrupt." he told me and I listened carefully. He has met her! Lucy! "How did she look? Is she okay? Happy?" I asked. He laughted and smiled. "She is all of it. To top it all, she isn't with Erik." he said and smiled. I felt my heart slowing down a bit. My beautiful lovely Lucy! "Will she come? Didn't she have problem with talking to you?" I asked him. "She will, I just don't know why. At first she did, but then when I started talking she had no problem." he said. "My lovely Lucy." I said and Marcel laughted. I can't get rid of the smile on my face.
