Chapter 45

"Lucy, baby wake up." Erik whispered in my ear. I groaned and looked at him. "It's 9 so we'll leave in an hour." he said and I froze. I immediately stood up. "What? Why didn't you wake me up earlier?!" I exclaimed and Erik pulled me closer. He kissed me and smiled. "You have an hour. Get ready, then we'll buy the flowers and be there for the lunch." he said and I nodded. He cleared his throat and I turned around to see him smirking. "Nice view." he said and I looked down. Crap! I forgot that I was sleeping in my pants and in his T-shirt. I blushed and he laughted. I closed the door from bathroom and made my stuffs. Now I'm standing in front of the wardrobe and I have no idea what shall I dress up. "Erik?" I called and he came. "Yes?" he asked and stood behind me. He put his hands on my tummy as always. "What shall I put on?" I said and pouted. "Anything. They will love you." he said and I sighed. "Pleeease. Help me!" I said. "Okay. Jeans aaaand.. this." he said. He gave me simple jeans and a navy blouse. "You sure?" I asked and he nodded. "And.. and what about shoes?" I asked and he laughted. "You can't wear heels so it should be easy." he said and kissed my cheek. "Okay. I'll be ready iiiin..uuum.. 20 minutes?" I said and he left. I dressed up, put my shoes on and made a little makeup so it looks natural. I brushed my hair and walked out of the room. I cleared my throat and Erik turned around and smiled immediately. "You're beautiful." he said and stepped closer. "Let's go." I mumbled and we did so. Erik bought a bunch of flowers and we headed to his parents' house. "Will you come to my match on Wednesday?" Erik asked me while driving. "Uuuum, do you want me to come?" I asked and he smiled. "Since you're my lucky charm yes." he said and I laughted. "Can Lisa come too?" I asked. "If she has time." he said and I nodded. "I'll ask her." I said and he nodded. "Do you feel less nervous?" Erik asked me. "Yes. Still nervous, but less nervous." I answered and looked at him. We stopped as the red light is on. I took my phone and placed it in front of our faces. "What are you doing?" he asked. "I wanna have our picture." I exclaimed. He nodded and smiled. I took the picture and smiled. We are cute. I can't imagine a better picture. "I love you." he said as I showed him the pic. "I would kiss you, but we should start moving." I said and pointed on the green light. He laughted and shook his head. "Erik, please, can we not tell your parents about him? About Marco?" I asked. "We won't tell them. There's nothing to say, is there?" he asked and I shook my head. "Thank you." I said and Erik kissed my hand. We stopped in front of a nice house. "It's beautiful." I said. "Let's go." he said and led me to the front door. "Heeeey!" Lisa exclaimed as she opened the door. "Hi." we both said. Lisa stepped closer and hugged me. I've always wanted a sister. Well, she's becoming my sister. "Um, I'm your brotheeer!" Erik sang so Lisa pulled away and hugged him too. "Let's go inside." Lisa said and we nodded. We stepped in the kitchen and I saw their parents. They're about 50 years old and they look kind. The first thing I can notice- their eyes. His mom has green ones and dad blue ones. "Good afternoon." I said and they both smiled. "Hello." his mom said and shook my hand. "I'm Lucy. Nice to meet you madam." I said and she smiled. "You don't have to call me madam." she said, but I shook my head. "No, I find it decent." I said and she nodded. "Feel free." she said and I chuckled little. "Good afternoon sir. I'm Lucy." I said and shook Erik's father hand. "I guess you will call me sir too." he said and I nodded. "If you don't mind." I said and he shrugged. "Let's eat." Lisa said and I laughted. Erik cleared his throat and showed me those flowers. "Oh, madam this is for you." I said and handed her the bunch of flowers. "Thank you so much." she said and put it in the vase. We sat down and Erik put his hand on my thigh. I looked at him and smiled. Yeah, this man loves me. "Prayer first." Erik's father said and we all nodded. We said the prayer and started eating. "It's delicious madam." I said and she smiled. "Thank you Lucy. If I can ask, do you cook?" she asked and I nodded. "Her food is amazing mom." Erik said and I smiled. "I can confirm it!" Lisa exclaimed and I laughted. "So, what do you do Lucy?" Erik's dad asked me. "I study. I wanna be a mental coach, cause I've always wanted to help sportpersons." I said and they all nodded. "We've heared that you live together now." his mom said. "Yes, my mom is in the USA now. She works for a fashion company." I said. "When she's home, we would like to meet her." his dad said and I smiled. "Of corse." I said. "Lis, Lucy is coming for the match on Wednesday, would you come too?" Erik asked Lisa and she smiled. "Yes. Sure." she said. We finished eating and Erik's mom took the dishes in the kitchen. I stood up and followed her. "Can I help you?" I asked and she shook her head. "No, thank you. Go back to the living room and have fun. I'll be there in a minute." she said and I nodded. I was on my way to the living room when Erik appeared in front of me. "They love you." he said and I blushed. "Do they?" I asked and he nodded. "And I love you too." he said and kissed me. We walked in there and saw Lisa and Erik's dad sitting on the sofa. "Lucy, what has happened to your ankle?" he asked me. I looked at Erik and we laughted softly. "I was running. In high heels." I said and he shook his head. "Does it hurt?" he asked. "It's getting better. Thanks for asking." I said. Their mom walked in the room and sat next to Lisa. "So Lucy, will you live with Erik wven after your mom comes back?" she asked and Erik sighed. "Mom." Erik said and shook his head. "Erik wants me to live with him so I will. We wouldn't have much time together if I don't livw there." I said and my words have surprised Erik. "You're serious?" he asked and I nodded. "I love you." he mumbled and kissed me. I blushed and pulled away. "Sooo, ummm..Erik what about the game yesterday?" his dad asked and Erik's face got pale. "Um. Crisis dad." Erik said and looked at me like he's looking for somebody to rely on. I smiled and he took my hand in his. "Have I told you that you're cute together yet?" Lisa asked and everybody laughted.  "Erik will you spend Christmas together?" his mom asked and this time it's me who got pale. "Um, we haven't talked about it yet." he said. "Lucy?" his mom asked me and I cleared my throat. "Well, I don't have a father aaand um.. I wanna be with my mom and hopefully Erik will join us." I said and looked at Erik. "Let's make a deal, on Christmas day it will be me, Lucy and her mom and the following day we will come here." Erik said and something in my stomach hit me. This is getting serious. Being with his family during Christmas? What the fuck? "Okay. Deal." his father said and I smiled.

"It was a pleasure to meet you, madam. " I said. "Also for me. Lucy my son loves you and I wish you all the best." she said and pulled me into a hug. I smiled and Erik's father came. "Be careful with the ankle. And take care of that football player." he said and we both laughted. "I will sir. Don-t worry." I said and he hugged me too. Wow! His father has just hugged me? Lucy, you've impressed them. "Lucy I'll call you on Wednesday. But count on me for sure." Lisa said and I nodded. "Goodbye." I said and waved them. We drove off and Erik caressed my thigh. "They like you." he said and I smiled. "They're so kind. And now I finally know why your eyes are so gorgeous." I said and laughted. "Wait, you like my eyes?" he asked and I sighed. "I love them." I said and Erik laughted. "Did you enjoy the rime with my family?" he asked and I nodded. "I did. You know, I was always only with my mom. Just two of us." I said ans Erik smiled. "We'll be a big family for sure." he said and I chuckled. A family. Yeah. "Baby did you mean it? That you will move in?" he asked and I nodded while bitting my lip. "Yes. Yes. Yes!" I exclaimed. "But what about your mom?" Erik asked. "I've already sent her a text. She told me that she agrees, but we'll have to visit her really often." I said and Erik grimaced. "We? Like both of us?" he asked and I laughted. "You're my boyfriend! She has to see you from time to time!" I said and Erik smiled excited. "A big family!" he said and I laughted. I've never been a part of a big family.

"Luc, where will we spend the Christmas day? Here or your house?" Erik asked. I took a sip of the tea I've just made and my tongue is on fire. "Shit!" I exclaimed and Erik shook his head. "It's hot, so why do you drink it?" he asked me and I stuck my tongue out. "I don't know. Shall we not ask my mom first?" I asked and Erik nodded. "Yes, sure." he said and leaned in to kiss me. I pushed him away and he furrowed his eyebrows. "What?! My tongue is burnt!" I exclaimed and Erik laughted. "It doesn't matter." he mumbled and kissed me. "I should go. Training." he said and broke the kiss. "Fuck it all!" I exclaimed. Like really! "Luuc. I'll be back in... uuum.. 3 hours.?" he said and I laughted ironically. "Why the hell can't you have 1 day off?!" I said and Erik sighed. "Because we have another game on Wednesday." he said and I faked a smile. "Fine." I said and was about to stand up when Erik pulled me back and made me sit on his lap. "I know that this is something you'll hardly get use for, but it's part of the job." he said and I smirked. "We were supposed to have a nice day together! Doesn't your coach know that it's the 3rd advent?!" I exclaimed and Erik cleared his throat. "Um.. he isn't Christian." he said and I clapped my hands. "Fine! Okay! But he has a wife! He should be at home with her too!" I said and Erik giggled. "We'll be together. I promise." he said and kissed my shoulder. "Yeah. Until the winter camp comes! Shit!" I said and stood up. I grabbed my crutches and walked to the desk. "Lucy, c'mon." he said, following me. "Go. You can't be late." I said and opened my notebook. "I won't leave when you're mad." he said. "Then you will leave in another century. Go." I said and he sighed. "I love you." he said and kissed my cheek. "No response?" he asked and I ignored him. "Fine. Goodbye." he said and left. Maybe I shouldn't have reacted the way I did. Fuck it! I just wanted to be with him. That's all. Am I asking too much?

Erik left at 16 o'clock and hasn't come back yet. Yes. 'I'll be back in 3 hours.' Yes sure! I believe you. I put on my pyjamas and lay down to bed. I left a note saying 'Your 3 hours are too long. Went to bed. Written at 20:04.' He won't hear the sarcastic tone of my voice, but still... I'll go to the doctor's tomorrow. Hopefully he will take the crutches away. Hopefully.
