Chapter 38

"Lucyyy! Waaait!" somebody screamed and I turned around. "Don't run Leo. You'll kill yourself." I said and laughted. "Where-where are you going?" he asked me breathless. "I don't know. Home probably?" I asked him and chuckled. He's a genius at school, but in normal life? Nope. "Tomorrow is no school! So why home?" he asked me. Oh yeah, no school. "And where are you going?" I asked in repeat. "Now home, but I'll go out! Drinking timeee!" he exclaime and clapped his hands. I've only shaken my head and chuckled. "Join me! Please!" he said and pouted. "Pleeeease!" he begged and I laughted. Some time with my friend won't kill me! "Well, okay!" I said and he hugged me. "Will you bring Erik?" he asked. "No. No. Everybody would be watching us." I said and smiled. I can see it. Me and Erik sitting there and the freaking fans would be watching us. No! "Okay. So meet me at my place? Aaaat 19?" Leo asked and I nodded. "Fineee. Byeee." I said and left home.

At home

"I'm back." I said as I closed the door. "Come here." he called from the living room. "What's up?" I asked as I sat next to him. "I'm watching tv. How was school?" he asked and I smiled. "Well, I think I've passed the exam so I can be happy aaand... no school tomorrow." I said and clapped my hands. "No school?" he asked and kissed me. "Yes." I confirmed. "Sooo, what will we do in the evening? I should be back by 8." he said and I sighed. "Well, I'm going out." I said and he smiled surprised. "Are you? With who?" he asked. "With Leo." I said and he looked emotionless. "Okay." he said and looked at the tv immediately. "I'd invite you, but there would be fans everywhere and I don't feel like being watched the whole evening. Sorry." I said and tried to make a sad face. "Yes. Sure. When are you leaving?" he asked. "I should meet Leo at his place at 19. So I'll leave at 18:30." I said and looked at him. "I can drive you." he said and I cleared my throat. I wanna be alone. For one evening. Alone. "No. No. Don't bother. I'll walk." I said and stood up. "Where are you going?" he asked me. "Bathroom?" I said and walked away. I took a shower, washed my hair and made a little makeup. I need to choose my clothes. Okay. The final outfit: black jeans, white T-shirt with a deep neckline on it, red earings and red high heels. I walked out of the room and saw that's already 18:25. "Oooh. I took some time." I said and Erik turned his head in my direction. "Ouch. You're going out like this?" he asked and I made a grimace. "Why? Don't you like it?" I asked and looked at the outfit. "No. It's just the decolletage." he said and walked closer.  "Oh. Don't worry." I said and put on my coat. "When will you come home?" he asked looking everywhere but not me. "I don't know. Why?" I asked. Does he want me to come in an hour or what? "Just asking. Bye." he said and kissed me. "Bye." I asked and walked away. I was walking down the street and I'm about 5 minutes far from Leo's flat. "Hi." and I recignized the voice at the moment. "Marco." I said and faced him. "You look beautiful." he said and I my heart skipped a beat. "Thanks." I said and looked down. "Are you going out? With Erik?" he asked. I can hear the bitter tone. "No. I'm going with my friends. Erik's at home." I said and his eyes lightened. "I miss you." he said out of nowhere. "Marco, don't.." but he didn't let me finish. "I love you." he said and crashed his lips on mine. I didn't even relize what was going on. I pulled away and he smirked. "You can't deny the sparkle it had." he said. I slapped his chest. "You're so self-confident! I have a boyfriend! How dare you?" I exclaimed and he kissed me again. But this time I pulled away immediately. "Don't do it again! Don't you dare to do it!" I yelled and ran away.  Boom! It wasn't good idea to run in this heels. My ankle hurts as a fuck. "Shit!" I screamed. "Can I help you?" a guy asked me and I nodded. "Could you help me to stand up?" I asked and he helped me. "Shall I drive you to the hospital?" he asked and I shook my head. "No. No, my friend lives just around the corner. But thank you. Very much." I said and he nodded. "You're welcome." he said and walked away. "Leo?" I said into the phone. "Where are you?" he asked. "I'm around the corner. Could you come here?" I asked. "What has happened? Are you okay?" he asked worriedly. "Just come here." I said and hung up. I've been waitting for 2 minutes when I spotted him. "What the hell is with your ankle?! It's massive." he exclaimed. "I've fallen down and a guy had to help me to stand up." I said and sighed. "Why the hell were you running in heels?" he asked and I felt that I' getting sick. "Well, I met Marco and he told me that I look beautiful anf that he misses me and that he loves me and then he kissed me and.." I said but he stopped me. "Breath!" he yelled. "Does it hurt?" he asked me and I nodded. "Let's go to the hospital." he said. He helped me to get into the car.

At the hospital

We've been waiting for the doctor for about half an hour. I've already been for an x-ray. "I'll call Erik." Leo said and stood up. "Miss Wilson?" the nurse called and I stood up in pain. "Thaaat's me. I'm coming." I said and the nurse shook her head. "Don't hurry up." she said and helped me to come in. "Good afternoon." I said and the doctor looked at me surprised. "Miss Wilson?" he asked and I nodded. It's the same doctor as a few weeks ago. "What happened to the ankle? Is it the same ankle?" he asked and I nodded. "Yes, it's the same. And..well.. I was running in heels. Again." I said and looked down. "Okay. Next time choose sneakers to run." he said. He touched the ankle here and there and he had a look at the x-ray. "Okay. You don't need the plaster, but you'll need the bandage. You can't walk so much." he said and I put on the bandage. "Okay. Check up next Friday." he said and I nodded. "Thanks. Goodbye." I said and he smiled. "See you young lady." he said. I stepped out of the office and saw Erik sitting next to Leo. "Lucy.. Oh God. I was so worried." Erik said and strongly embraced me. "Hi. Leo sorry for ruining your evening." I said and looked at Leo. "Don't worry. I'll go anyways." he said and I laughted. "Okay. I'll leave you. Take care of her Erik." he said and left. "Okay now, what has happened?" he asked and I sighed. "I'll explain at home. Let's go." I said and Erik helped me to walk. We arrived home and I sat down on the couch. "Will you explain?" he asked and I patted the spot next to me. He sat down and I put my head on his chest. "I was running in those heels." I said and Erik sighed. "Why were you running in those boots?" he asked confused. I'm sure he will punch Marco's face. "Okay. Listen the whole story." I said and he nodded. "Fine." he said and I nodded. "Well, I was just around the corner from Leo's house when I met Marco." I said and took a deep breath. Erik's already looked awful and angry. "And..and he said that I look beautl and that he misses me and that he loves me. And then..well then.. he kissed me." I said and sighed. "He did what?! He kissed you?!" Erik shouted and stood up. He's walking from one corner to another one. "Baby calm down." I said and Erik chuckled ironically. "How am I supposed to calm down when I know that he kissed you." he yelled. "Did you pull away?" he asked me in a calm tone. I sighed. Well, yes, no, yes.. "Erik, he kissed me and as soon as I relized what's happening I pulled away! I promise!" I said and he nodded. "I slapped his chest and then he kissed me again. I pulled away and started running away." I said. He walked closer and helped me to stand up. "Let's go to bed." he said and I nodded. I sat on the bed and watched Erik changing into his pyjamas. "Why are you watching me?" he asked me and smirked. I blushed and looked away. He then appeared in front of me and caressed my cheeks. "Don't be ashamed. I've already seen you and you've already seen me." he said what caused me to blush even more. "I'll get changed." I said and stood up. I was about to change when I noticed Erik staring at me. "What? Can't I look?" he asked and I shook my head. "No. No. No. Erik no!" I said and he hid his eyes under his palms. "I won't! You have 2 minutes." he said and I started changing. I turned around and saw Erik's wide smile. "You were watching, weren't you?" I asked, crossing my hands over my chest and he smirked. "I had to!" he said and put his hands up in defense. "This wasn't nice." I said and I lay down on the bed. "Does it hurt?" Erik asked and put his hands over my waist. "Yes. But not as much as earlier." I said and smiled. "Well, they gave you some pills so it should be better." he said and kissed my shoulder. "Lucy I promise when I meet Marco I'll punch his face." he said and I turned around so I can face him. "Please. No. Don't do it. Because of me." I said and he looked angry. "Why? Why do you protect him? Did you like it or what?" he asked angry. "What?" I exclaimed. "Of corse not! I just don't want you to get into troubles!" I yelled and he sighed. "I'm sorry. I know you didn't like it. I know." he said and I caressed his cheek to calm him down a little. "Sleep. And forget him." I said and he kissed the top of my head. "Fine. Night." he said. Of corse I didn't like it. I mean... As he said, there was a sparkle there, but I have Erik. I'll stay with him. No matter what.
