after spinel stepped out of the room, she leaned against the door and hugged herself. why is she doing this?

why does everything have to complicated?

spinel punched the wall and slumped down on the ground. her head hurts just by these thoughts floating around.

of course you wouldn't be comfortable with her doing these kind of things. who is she even kidding that she'll be your first.

tears started to poking spinel's eyes, she let out a silent whimper and let a single tear drop. spinel's head is spinning so eventually she accidentally slept on the floor.

you sat on the bed filled with pillows, still in your thoughts but they were interrupted by a soft whimper coming outside the door.

you decided to get up and check it out, you flung the door open and you see spinel's sleeping body on the floor (with fresh tear marks).

you huffed, you tried to carry her body but you only lifted her upper half. you got to the bed and slammed her body to the soft mattress, not the best way to do it but at least she's still asleep.

you plopped at the edge and stared at her features. for all the times you two have been together, you never get to admire her beauty. she's incredibly beautiful, it's so much better than staring at a picture.

you decided you want to lie down too, you hesitantly hugged her and scotched closer to her for warmth. spinel unconsciously shifted and her head is on your chest, you tensed at this but didn't dare to move.

you bared with it and tried to get some sleep. until you heard murmuring, "y/n." you looked down to see spinel clenching your shirt tightly and slightly trembled.

you rubbed her head softly as you tried to calm her down, "i'm here." you whispered "don't. . leave me." your eyes slightly widened and you continued to rubbed her head.

"i won't." you kissed her head "i love you."

"i love you too y/n." spinel said as she got on top of you and closed the distance between the two of you. you instantly wrapped your arms around her neck to deepen the kiss.

spinel pulled away to let you breath, you panted softly and smiled. "you were pretending huh? sneaky girl." spinel chuckled.

"what can i say. i am sneaky." she kissed you again. "so. . we're?" you asked, "of course dolly!" spinel pulled you into the biggest hug, which made you melt into her arms.

"thank you. . ." you breathed out, spinel smiled and hugged you tightly. "i'm always here alright? i'm never gonna leave ya!"

"i know you won't." you nuzzled your face onto her neck as the both of you cuddled. sadly, it was interrupted by a gunshot.

spinel instinctively made you duck, she rolls towards the sniper rifle and looked out the broken window. her eyes widen as she saw;

bismuth.

she's holding steven on the other hand and a gun on the other. "spinel, bring me y/n!" she yelled. spinel gritted her teeth, "callin' me by my name huh?!"

"you don't deserve to be called boss by me! unless you hand her over." bismuth said, steven summoned his bubble and went inside the house.

bismuth didn't even bother to get the kid, she's going to tell him afterwards. steven ran upstairs, he saw spinel on the floor with the sniper rifle with you by her side.

"boss! what's the plan?!" he kneeled close to spinel, "we gotta get out of here. right now, protecting y/n is top priority."

steven nodded, he pulled out his gun out of the holster. "on your command." spinel nodded.

"i'm counting you down to 5 spinel!
1!"

steven readied his gun and leaned against the wall.

"2!"

he took a deep breath and prayed to lord.

"3!"

"are you sure he's going to be fine?" you asked. spinel nodded, "he's a tough guy, besides he got a shield."

"4!"

steven pulled the pin and stood up.

"5—!"

steven threw the grenade at bismuth, her eyes widen and attempted to run away but the distance of the grenade's explosion is like 15 meters.

bismuth didn't get out in time.

steven gave it a last look and ran off to the back door where you and spinel escaped.

as steven spotted a cadillac, he quickly ran to it and knocked on the passenger window. he heard the doors unlock, he rushed on getting in and slammed the door.

"where now?" you asked, spinel looked into the road then a lightbulb came in.

"back to where i first arrived."
