The Chaotixs were enjoying a normal Saturday when a knock came from the door 

"Espio get the door!" Vector shouted from his desk, he was sorting out the bills that he always kept putting to the back of his mind (but it got to the stage where they would have to start selling things' 

Espio rolled his eyes (could have added a please) he thought annoyedly but did as he was asked, getting up from his usual meditation pose and walked to the door 

He noticed that charmy was also in his usual spot, playing video games and eating Doritos as he walked 

(He needs to get out more) he thought as he rolled his eyes once again 

The two could either be insufferable or annoying 

And at the moment he felt like his mood wasn't going to change for quite a while 

"Hello what do you wa-" he tried to say as he opened the door, just wanting them to leave before he saw exactly who it was 

"Mighty ?" He shouted with surprise 

The figure that was mighty had a muddy middle sized bag in hand and was wearing a genuine and contagious smile 

"Hey espio" he said happily and calmly  

The last time they had seen each other was when espio had told him about his sister and how he  had left 

Espio had always blamed himself for his disappearance, it was him that made him leave 

Never to be seen again 

But now 

Now he was standing right in front of him 

Espio couldn't help the tears from gathering in his eyes and start to fall down his checks 

"Espio ?" Mighty tried to question as he came closer to the chameleon, opening his arms in a calming friendly way 

Espio had no idea what he was doing, he was crying like a child and just like a child ran to the closest level of comfort 

and that was straight into mightys embrace

Mighty was always the one to go to comfort, he had always been the most empathetic, caring and strongest member ( in more ways then one) and was always the one to go to if you needed to talk with someone, no matter what the situation he could always help 

Espio gave such a force that it caused both of them to fall on the ground 

"It's ok, espy" mighty whispered stroking the chameleons head

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have kept it a secret I-" espio began to apologise before cupping espios face making him look directly into his own 

"You have nothing to be sorry for espio, you did nothing wrong" mighty said, wiping espios tears with his thumb, espio hiccuping slightly before replying 

"I missed you" espio said quietly, looking away in embarrassment before mighty took his face again forcing him to look deeply into each others eyes 

Where aqua met gold 

"I missed you too" mighty said gently 

"Now no more tears, now show me a smile" he continued squishing espios cheeks together making him laugh and smile 

Mighty placed a kiss on espios head 

"Now, how about you show me around" he said as he got up from the ground, and stretching his arm out to pull espio of the earth as well

"The others will be thrilled to see you" espio said rubbing his eyes, trying to make him more presentable 

"And I will be as well" laughed mighty 

And with that they entered the building hand in hand
