It was a pretty long walk to the fairgrounds, especially with me being on crutches and slowed down because of it. But once we got to the fairgrounds, it was relatively busy. But definitely not as busy as it would be from midday to later on in the night. Suraki decided to buy us passes for the entire week in case we wanted to visit again to see if anything new was in that day. But it was unlikely much was gonna change throughout the week.

"So where do you wanna head first, hun?" Suraki looked at me with a slight smile. I thought for a moment before smiling back at him.

"Why don't you make the first pick."

"But I asked you first?"

"Oh just piiick!" I pushed his arm slightly as I chuckled, he smiled at me again before looking around, some of the games caught his eye as he pointed to one.

"How about that? I'll win you something."

"Sure! Let's go!" I started to make my way over, though I had a little trouble since the ground was a bit uneven. I almost fell once because I put my crutch in the wrong spot, but a passer by caught me before I ended up falling. I thanked them for the help and finished making my way over, Suraki getting there beside me a few seconds later. The game was a simple peg board sat upright with balloons attached to it and a box of darts on the little table of the booth to throw at the balloons and try to pop them.

Suraki paid to play as he picked up one of the darts, doing his best to aim and throw at one of the balloons. There was a loud tap noise as the dart impaled itself into the wood of the board right beside the balloon, Suraki was a little annoyed at the miss but he still had as many throws as he liked, it was a play until you win sort of game. He picked up another dart and threw it, missing again but this time a little further from the balloon. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit since he was getting increasingly annoyed with himself.

"Hun, just relax okay? Focus on your throwing, not the fact that you missed."

"I am focusing on throwing." He shot me an annoyed look, which made me quiet down and just watch. After another miss, he finally hit the balloon. The balloon bursting with a loud pop.

"We have a winner!" The carnie said with a bit of enthusiasm. "Pick a prize, any prize." There was all sorts of stuff from plushies to posters, even the cheap toys you would usually see in carnival games like this. Suraki looked at me and gestured for me to pick something, I took a few moments to glance around before pointing to a Red Riot plushie. The carnie smiled as they grabbed it and handed it to me. "Have a great day you two!" We waved to the person before we started to walk away, Suraki was holding my plushie for me since I couldn't really use the crutches at the same time as holding it.

We went around the fairgrounds, playing a couple different games and winning some other prizes. Eventually we decided to take a short break, stopping at one of the food vendors and getting a milkshake. Of course it was just a single shake with two straws, it was cheaper and it would be fun to share it. We made our way to some of the tables and sat down, having my crutches leaned against the table as we started to drink the milkshake. I stopped for a few moments to talk.

"So, I was thinking we go to some of the rides. Maybe the ferris wheel or something, sound like a plan?" Suraki nodded as I simply smiled in response. We finished up our milkshake and got up, making our way to the large ferris wheel the carnival had. It had a decent line since it was a ferris wheel, there was no doubt that we weren't the only couple going to be riding it. After maybe a five to ten minute wait, we were at the front of the line and were led to one of the seats. We showed our passes that allowed us to have free access to the rides and got on. The Ferris wheel slowly turning and lifting our booth higher and higher after occasional stops to pick up other passengers.

We eventually got to the top, and we were lucky enough for the ride to stop right at the peak of the wheel. We assumed they were picking up or letting off some passengers. I leaned my head on Suraki's shoulder, looking out at the skyline. He was mostly looking at me though with a faint smile.

"Thanks for bringing me here today, I'm having a really great time."

"Of course, I figured you were bored since you've been cooped up in the dorm rooms for so long, I wanted to bring you somewhere fun instead." I looked up at Suraki, smiling happily and kissing him on the cheek. He smiled back at me and ran his hand through my hair as he looked back out to the skyline. I noticed that we had been stopped for a decent time longer than usual, so I looked down to see what was going on.

When I looked down, it seemed to be just some issues with some of the passengers trying to get on without paying. So they got kicked off and were forced to go do something else. I got back into the seat and rest my head on Suraki's shoulder again. Checking my phone to see a message from S about meeting with Akane again for information, I hid the message from Suraki as I responded with just a thumbs up emoji and put my phone away.
