Two weeks later

I stared at myself in the mirror. The mirror was a little foggy from the steam of the shower that built up, I started to ever so slightly touch the scar on my neck. It was even rougher and more prominent than the original scar.

"So ugly..." My voice was coarse and quiet, nothing like how it used to be... And it would be stuck that way for a couple more weeks. "No talking... Only writing and gestures.." I sighed, even my sighes were different. They were raspy. I left my bathroom after drying off, getting dressed in my uniform before stepping back into the bathroom to look at myself in the mirror. The scar was still visible with the dress shirt of the uniform on, which made me frown. I didn't want people to see that the scar was worse, those who did see were only my closest friends. I went back out to my closet, grabbing a scarf and wrapping it around my neck. I didn't care about the looks I would get for wearing a scarf when it was so far away from winter. I just wanted to hide the scar. I walked to class, heading there after everyone had already left. When I opened the door, Bakugou immediately shot a look in my direction.

"You aren't supposed to be here for another week." I looked directly back at him, having a look on my face that said I didn't care. He sighed softly and nodded, when he nodded I shut the door behind me and walked to my seat. Setting my things on my desk and taking a seat, almost immediately Zota had leaned over.

"Good to see you again man... What's with the scarf?" I glanced at him, pulling out a small notepad and writing in it before sliding it to him. On the notepad was written -Scar.- He simply nodded, figuring I probably wouldn't want to talk about it. I stared directly at the board as Bakugou went through his lesson, paying full attention to him and taking many notes. I was sick of missing class and needed to catch up. After a few hours, we broke off for lunch, I carried my bag with me as I went up to Bakugou, having a note written for him with a question. -May I go to the training room and work out.-

Bakugou looked at the note with a curious face before looking directly at me. "Don't you wanna go eat lunch?" I simply shrugged in response, he let out a soft sigh before nodding. "Don't work yourself too much, we still have the rest of the day to go through." I simply nodded, leaving the room and walking to the training room. I had no idea that Suraki was following me since he saw me turn down a different hallway than the one that leads to the lunch room. I got changed into the gym uniform, feeling comfortable to take my scarf off since no one was around as I walked into the training room, in it were different sets of workout equipment. I went over to the punching bag, setting my backpack down against the wall as I brought my hands up and into my combat stance. My stance had improved since my training with with Todoroki-Sensei and I started to practice my normal attacks. Most of my attacks being kicks rather than punches. I had noticed Suraki was watching me from the doorway, but I couldn't speak that loud so I couldn't really acknowledge him there apart from waving in between one of my attacks.

Suraki walked over, stopping me in the middle of one of my attacks on the punching bag. "C'mon hun. Let's go eat lunch, you need it." I sighed slightly, nodding and grabbing my backpack as I went and got changed back into my uniform, walking with Suraki to a table after grabbing lunch. At the table was Zota, Kina, Kazu, Pamela, Sakura, and Toma.

"Oh! Sup Nosido and Suraki!" Zota waved to us as we approached, I adjusted the scarf around my neck so it was a tighter fit and wouldn't slide down. Everyone was giving me an odd look because of the scarf apart from Zota. I sighed softly and shook my head.

"I don't wanna talk about the scarf..." Everyone at the table was taken aback by how rough and coarse my voice sounded, along with it being quieter than normal.

"Are... You okay No-"

"I'm fine... Just shut up about it please, alright?" Kazu was surprised by my response to his attempted question, not only was it a bit rude. I had an annoyed tone in my voice.
