When I came to. I woke up in the medical bay, I had a serious headache and my leg was still stinging and occasionally had waves of sharp pain. I looked down to see my leg suspended in the air and in a cast, and out the window I could see that it was pretty late in the afternoon. I was passed out for hours, most likely due to pain. Beside me was Yurin, sitting in a chair in his normal UA uniform and scrolling through something on his phone boredly. But when he noticed I was awake, he quickly shut his phone off and focused on me.
"H-hey... How are you feeling?" All I did was shrug, I didn't really even want to speak right now. After a few seconds I looked away from him, staring out the window at the campus below. Seeing some students walking around, some seemingly heading to class while others were just hanging out. Soon my attention was returned back to the room I was in, Nurse Juyami walking up with a slight smile
"Good to see that your awake, Nosido... How are you feeling?"
"My leg still hurts..."
"That's expected... I healed your leg the best I could, but you still need time for it to heal naturally and be set right." I frowned a bit when she said that, I didn't want to miss more class.
"H-How long will that take?"
"A few days or weeks at the least." I laid my head back, hitting it slightly against my pillow and shaking my head.
"I don't want to miss more class..."
"You'll be alright 'Sido. I'm sure Bakugou will understand since he was watching the trials with Deku." I sighed, closing my eyes as I thought to myself. Soon I heard the door get suddenly opened, making me open my eyes and see Suraki standing in the doorway. He had a bit of a worried expression on his face, but it slowly faded when he saw I seemed relatively okay. Just as fast as his worry faded, Yurin's and Suraki's gazes instantly locked with each other as they both glared. I looked between the two and frowned.
"Please don't start fighting you two... Especially not in here." The both stopped glaring and looked to me when I spoke, while I sighed in annoyance.
"Can I at least ask why he's here?"
"Because I'm the one who helped carry Nosido here, dumbass."
"Language, Goyami." Nurse Juyami pointed at Yurin as he nodded.
"Sorry ma'am..." Yurin then sighed and looked down at the floor. While Suraki came and stood on the left side of my bed, Yurin was on my right.
"You okay, babe?" He knelt down next to my bed, holding my hand as I smiled a bit.
"Y-yeah... my leg still hurts but for obvious reasons."
"Sorry I didn't come sooner, Kazu didn't tell me about what happened until a bit later."
"It's alright, I was passed out until a few minutes ago anyways..." Suraki nodded, pulling up a chair to sit down.
"How long will you stay here?"
"Nurse Juyami said a few days to weeks. Which kinda upsets me since I don't really want to miss class..."
"Don't worry, Kazu should be here soon. He decided he was gonna take notes for you while your gone."
"He really doesn't have to-"
"Well I did!" Kazu spoke a bit loudly as he walked in, holding a notebook that had my name on it. Well, it was specifically mine. So he at least wasn't using up his own paper. Zota was walking in behind him. Yurin must not have liked so many people being in the room since he got up and left without saying a word.
"How you feeling, man? I saw how crazy that was! You did really good for not knowing how to fight well! I think you honestly could have had that if it wasn't for... well... your leg breaking." Zota rubbed his head and quieted down a bit as he said the last part while all I simply did was smile at the two.
"Thanks guys so much for being concerned about me... And thank you Kazu for taking notes for me, keep that notebook on you, though. I'm supposed to be here for a few days to weeks."
"Aw, that really sucks... I hope you aren't here for too long. It's gonna be weird without you in class."
"Oh, you guys will be fine without me... Also uh, Kazu... What was with you screaming die?"
"Oh, I get that from my dad."
"Deku doesn't say that? The only hero I know that does is... Wait a minute." I saw Zota's eyes widen as he was about to shout out his next sentence, but Kazu quickly covered Zota's mouth as he smiled at me.
"Yeah, Deku is my dad. Buuut so is Ground Zero..." I looked at Kazu in confusion, my mind having a bit of trouble making the realisation before I ended up shouting.
"Wait! Izuku and Bakugou are a thing!" Zota pulled Kazu's hand off of his mouth and responded.
"That's what I was going to say! Dude that's like, so crazy! I can't believe it!" Kazu was standing there, facepalming a bit since me and Zota were kinda freaking out about this. "And wait! So your naturally blond right? That means you dye those parts of your hair green on purpose! Thats... uh... what's the word... "
"Cute?" Suraki said blankly.
"Bingo!" Kazu started to blush when Zota mentioned how he dyed his hair, he even covered the parts that were dyed with his hands. "Hey, relax man. It's pretty cool that you do it honestly, it's creative." Zota pat Kazu's back as he smiled at him reassuringly.
"R-Really?"
"Yeah!" I chimed in. "It makes a lot of sense since your not... Well, genetically related. So why not show that all three of you are related in a different way." Kazu started to smile a bit, uncovering his hair and nodding.
"You four are really great friends." We all looked over to Nurse Juyami when she spoke. She had a wholesome smile on her face and shook her head happily. "Well. If Nosido is lucky he can be let out in a few days, he would just be on crutches... Which reminds me. No classes for you with that broken leg! After battle trials today you guys are gonna be practicing more with quirks for a few weeks, you won't even be able to do that until your leg is healed."
"B-but!"
"No but's... what floor are you on in the dorms? Your bedroom that is."
"I'm on the third floor I think."
"Is there someone on a lower floor?"
"Kazu and I are! Hey! Are you asking if he wants to bunk with one of us!"
"Yes actually... Well Nosido, you can either choose Zota or Kazu." I looked over to Suraki, he was looking at me. But when our gazes met he simply shrugged. Implying it was my choice.
"Um... I... Guess I'll bunk with Zota."
"Sweet!" Zota threw his fist in the air happily before bringing it back down. "These next couple of weeks are gonna be fricken' awesome dude!" I couldn't help but chuckle from Zota's enthusiasm. The more I got used to his energy, the more I liked it.
"Well, Nosido should be getting some rest now. You three head out, now. Go on." The three of them nodded before standing up, saying their goodbyes before they left. I was still pretty upset that I was gonna be missing class, but there was nothing I could do. Instead, I laid my head down and closed my eyes to get some rest.
