I follow Tobias out of the door. He's holding my hand like a dog pulls his owner with his leash.

Ever since Ray gave Tobias a healing serum, he has not stopped moving.

He holds our small but relatively heavy bags containing all of our belongings: a few sets of clothes, my mother's journal, and our weapons.

He pushes the door with great might, then holds it open for me.

I walk through the door and try to find his hand again. I quickly find it and hold it tightly. HE pulls me again, faster this time now that the truck is in our sight. Uriah and Christina are already in the truck. Uriah sits in the driver's seat. He looks at us with an impatient smile. He honks the horn. I cringe.

Tobias, who turns red in the face and whose hands begin to perspire, suddenly pushes on my calves and places one hand on my back. I look down to find him carrying me.

"What? We gotta hurry," he says with a grin. I smile too.

He runs to the truck, and Uriah opens it from the inside. Tobias continues to carry me as he squeezes both of us through the small door. He sis me down next to him. He places his arm around my hip.

"Uriah. LET'S GO!" Christina shouts and smiles.

"Woo!" I yell.

Tobias and Uriah chuckle. Uriah steps on the pedal and begins to drive.

Tobias stares at me and grins every once in a while.

I usually stare outside through the small windows at rusting fences and grey tarps covering up certain sections.

It is already dark, and we are nowhere near our destination in Snow Valley.

Peter explained that Snow Valley had never had any snow in the history of the world. He said the climate is warm in the winter and hot in the summer.

He said it is a desert with mountains covering half of the terrain; the mountains however do get snow.

Great for crops on the north side, but not on the south side. The south side contains the mountains with several animals, waiting to be hunted.

The darkness covers most of truck. I can hardly see Tobias' face, but suddenly I hear a snore.

"Uriah," I whisper.

"Yeah."

"You should pull over and get some sleep too."

"Okay," he says. He turns the truck onto a slope. Our bodies are forced forwards then back. I hear Uriah's footsteps. I push my head into Tobias' stomach and sprawl my legs around. Once I find a comfortable postion, I fall asleep.
