The group was going through their books one last time, last minute.

"What are the three unforgivable curses?" Sirius asked.

"The killing curse," James said.

"The torture curse, crucio," Cerise repeated from memory.

"And imperio, the imperius curse."

"Thanks."

Hours slowly moved, until the day was over.

"I'm so nervous for exams!" Lotus said, leaning into Remus.

"Yeah, um, I am too," Remus uncomfortably replied.

"Well, see you tomorrow!" Lottie quickly moved and turned bright red, and rushed down the stairs to the kitchen. Remus sighed, and moved along.

"So Snape."

"Sapphire."

"It's Saffron!"

"Same thing."

"No it's not!"

"Whatever you say."

"W-What?" Saffi stuttered, startled. Severus raised in eyebrow.

"This is where you start arguing with me!" She huffed.

"Do you know where Regulus went?"

"Reggie? Why, he's right behind us!" She turned around. "But he was right... He was just... What?"

"It appears he left us."

"Thanks for walking me up to my common room," Taurus laughed nervously.

"No problem. So, uh, I'll see you around, I guess."

"Yeah. See you around."

Regulus walked down the stairs to get to the Slytherin dungeons. Taurus entered the Ravenclaw common room and sighed.

'I can't believe Sirius left me, my wing man!' James thought as the awkward tension between Lily and him seemed to grow thicker.

"So... Were you invited to Slughorn's end-of-school-year dinner party?" Lily spoke up.

"No. Not that I'm aware of."

"Oh. Okay." Lily said and the awkwardness resumed.

"So... Sirius, how's Charms going?"

"Good. You?"

"Fine." Cerise replied.

"Would you like to-"

"Oh! We're here! Bye Sirius, thanks for walking me up to my common room, see you tomorrow!"

"Oh. Bye." Sirius walked away, feeling this was his last chance to ask her out while she was alone.
