Chapter 37 |

I woke up to the sound of my name being called. Orlando's voice made my stomach turn. He knocked on the door as he groaned mumbling, "Shit my head hurt. SAVAY!"
I opened the door pushing past him going into our room. He followed me asking me questions. I actually ignored it because I didn't hear a word he said.
My body was turned around gently as he looked in my face with worry sum eyes. "What's wrong? Was it something I said?"
I looked at him in shock, "Why were you drinking last night?"
"I just had a few drinks, I was stressed."
"Because of me? Me nagging and you not wanting to marry me?" I laughed
He looked at me in confusion, "What are you talking about? I've been stressed by all the art sessions I've been doing. My youngest class is getting out of control."
I scoffed shaking my head. "Bullshit."
"What do you mean bullshit? That's the-
"NO, IT'S NOT. YOU WERE DRUNK LAST NIGHT AND WAS A COMPLETE ASS!"
"Whatever I said I'm sorry. You just said it, I was drunk. I didn't mean it."
"No, because remember? The truth unfolds when one gets drunk." I bumped past him.
"Since you got amnesia, the wedding is off. & We're done."
He punched the wall. "SO WHAT!, YOU GONE FUCKING LEAVE ME OVER SOMETHING I DON'T EVEN KNOW I SAID!"
I nodded unbothered. "Yeah. You get the picture. Don't call me unless it deals with our child's appointments and shopping. But I'm pretty sure you won't since you know you don't want a baby. Now get your bitch ass out my face." I pushed him walking away.
My feet came to a halt when he turned me around, his lips trembled to my face, "You lucky I don't pin you against this wall from the way you just talked to me." His gun sat itself between my legs.
"I don't care what the fuck you think nor say. You're mines. I'll make sure you never forget. Even if it means harassing you. Now I'm pretty sure you won't forget that." He cocked it back kissing my cheek wiping my tears. He walked away going up the stairs
I slammed the door with my bag calling Sydney saying I needed to stay with her a few days. I laughed loudly about how typical and cliche this moment is. This happens in almost every story. This is what pisses me off. Because I wanted my story to be different. Be a happy ending. Nah, fuck that. Not just any happy ending bitch, the lifetime happy ending.
I busted through her door squealing walking back out. I closed my eyes walking back in, "Sorry. I-I didn't know you had company."
She mumbled grabbing my wrist. I yanked it back, "Bitch!, don't touch my hand and you probably use that same one to-."
"Fine, just go up the stairs. You're already at the case of it."
I opened my eyes walking up the stairs trying my absolute hardest to not laugh. I heard the door shut and feet running up the stairs.
"You stupid ass." She whined
"Sorry. I told you I was on my way." I laughed crisscrossing my legs on the bed.
She sat in the wheeling chair smiling, "Do you like it?"
"Your house? Bitch yes. The color is beautiful. It's giving me Valentine's day vibes."
Her house was covered in red and pink. Something was in an ombré mixture which made me feel so welcomed for some weird reason.
"So, why are you here? I thought we weren't meeting up until tomorrow."
"Orlando being a dip-shit."
"What you mean? You guys barely argue."
"So last night I came home and Orlando was drunk and high. We started to argue because I asked what he was doing and the long story short. He said he didn't want to be married or have the baby."
She stood up, "Bitch what!"
"Yeah. Then he told me he didn't care that I was crying. Said I'm always nagging. I'm not gonna front, he hit me hard last night."
"So what you wanna do? Jump him? Burn his shit? what let me know! You told Gina this stuff?"
"No!, This morning I broke up with him and he bitched on how he didn't remember anything."
"Well, You can but can't blame him."
"Yes, I can. I said last night while quoting, "This is the liquor talking." Bitch, you know what he said? "Ever heard the truth unfolds when one drinks?"
"Oh hell Nah." She rolled her eyes
"I-I just don't know what to do." I quivered
Sydney shook her head sitting on the bed hugging me, "Look. I know this has to hurt painfully, so whatever you want to do... I'm 100 percent beside you. But don't let this moment define the rest of this beautiful journey you're having because of some dickhead sentences the asshole said."
She pointed her hand to my stomach as I smiled nodding. "I love you, and I need you to not stress over this."
"I know. Can I just stay here for a while?"
"Bitch duh. I need some company, but you're going to have to make yourself busy on my dick appointment days." We both screamed in laughter as I nodded
"No problem. I understand it."
"Good. Now, let's-
My phone started ringing as Orlando's name popped up. Sydney kissed my cheek before leaving out, "Do what you have to do."
I pressed decline but he called again. I rolled my eyes as it began clingily. This went on for about 15 minutes until I just snapped.
"WHAT!"
"Meet me at your favorite cafe. Please?"
"Fuck you. Go to hell."
"Savvy, I just wan-
I hung up the phone feeling proud. I wasn't going to actually talk to him until 24 hours came. Because that's when the next appointment was coming. For the rest of the day, I just ate food like the nagging fiancé that I am until my eyes took over. I somehow couldn't wait for tomorrow. Because I honestly want to hear what he has to say.
