Chapter 43 |
S A V A Y | S U A R E Z
Born 2/18/2020, Omarion Raul Gonzalo.
Today I get a release from the hospital. My baby is so beautiful. It's been about a week or so and Orlando is too much for me. He's constantly being hogger of the baby. Like damn, I pushed the boy out.
I was putting on my clothes to leave when Orlando came in.
"Wassgood Lil man." He quickly ran to the bathroom washing his hands picking him up.
"I'm here to." I waved my hands. He chuckled giving me a kiss as he sat on the bed. "Hello, baby, how you feeling?"
"Great. I'm ready to go home."
"& make more babies." He smiled
I shook my head, "Not for another year or so."
We laughed as three knocks came to the door. It was Dr.Ridge. "Awn look at him." She made a face as Omarion smiled.
She laughed in reaction and turned to me, "Well don't just stand there, give your girl a hug."
I laughed hugging her as she rubbed my back. "& your looking gorgeous as ever, looks like having a baby ain't even in your history." She smiled
"Thank you. I do have a question, I have stretch marks and I was wondering was there any type of cream you have?"
"What do you need it for? You look fine." Orlando commented
I smiled, "I know, thank you, baby. But I do want some healing if we do plan on having more kids so it won't be so bad."
"I guess that's a good point."
"Yes, I do. I'll get you a prescription for it and you can be on your way. Here's the birth certificate for you both to sign." She nodded walking out.
I signed the papers grabbing Omarion from Orlando while he signed the papers too. "So what now?"
I turned around staring at my baby as his features came into view. "He has your nose," I mumbled
"& He has your eyes, but you didn't answer my question."
I looked letting him know he had my undivided attention. "I said what now?"
"What do you mean what now? We go home."
"I'm saying about our lives? like the next step for us?"
"Your talking about having another baby? We-
"No. I think we should put the wedding back on."
"That's fine. I just want to wait until Omari is old enough to at least be knowledgeable of what's going on. So a little before he turns one should be a good time for the both of us."
He nodded, "Yeah. That's something I can agree with, girl now right?"
I smiled, "Of course."
"What should we name her?"
"Sevyn. Since we had a name for Omarion, that name can go to her."
"Yeah, that fits a girl more anyway."
We left the hospital and went home really quickly. I needed to get in the shower before I did anything else, I hate hospitals. We're going to my father's house since he couldn't make it to the hospital in time.
I brushed my hair into a ponytail as Orlando came up behind me. He took a picture of us as he held Omari. We grabbed our things leaving out.
I got a notification from Instagram. I checked my phone to see the picture. My heart warmed as I eyed the caption.
LandoTbs~ "My baby gave me a baby💍🥱"
I heart it as we pulled into my dad's driveway. We've definitely gotten back close over the past week. I always told myself that I would hate him for what he did, but I have to move on now that Omari is here.
"Your both glowing so beautifully." Miranda smiled
I laughed at how emotional she is. She acts just like my mum. But I'll never give her that label, no one for that manner.
My father gave me a hug as Orlando got the baby out of the car. "How's everything with you and the baby? No stress?"
"Good, he's been with me at the hospital. So tonight is actually our first time experiencing everything." I laughed
"That's good. Well if you need anything or advice... call Miranda."
She glared at him as he patted my shoulder. I laughed as we went inside.
Orlando & My dad went into the kitchen as the little girl came downstairs. She smiled shyly, I waved.
"I never got your name, what is it?"
"Savanna."
I smiled, "Hey Savanna, I'm Savay. How old are you?"
"6."
I nodded, She pointed to Omari in my hands. "What's his name?"
"Omarion, but I call him Omari for short."
"Can I?"
I giggled, "Yeah. This is your nephew."
She smiled telling Miranda how he's pretty. "Say, handsome sweetheart." She laughed
"Yeah, that word. Can I have a girl one of those?"
We both laughed harshly as I fed Omari his bottle. "Can I hold him?"
"Sure. But I have to help you, go tell daddy to wash your hands."
She came back a few minutes later putting a plate on the table, plotting on the couch.
"That's for you." She pointed
I smiled seeing the plate full of food making my stomach growl. "Miranda, can you help her? I really want to eat." I laughed
"Of course honey, take your time." She sat Omari in her lap as they both talked about him being so handsome.
This feels kinda weird to me. I want my son to see that I'm changing for him though. Even though he probably doesn't even know I'm his mother yet, I still need him to know that if he ever asks how I was or what I use to do. I never really expected myself to be so far in life at such a young age.
Of course, I still have to work in order to make money. & I will continue to do so. Orlando talks about me getting my own business, but I always respond that killing people is my business. I can't just give that up... that's what I grew up too.
But I'll be damned if my son ever sees that while I'm on this earth.
