They come back home and she books a hotel, she doesn’t have a home anymore, nor a husband. She didn’t have nowhere to go, and considering most of the time she was traveling and loved to come back home, she felt lost.

René's car is waiting for them at the airport, and takes them to her hotel. “There’s no need for you to stay here alone” he mutters as the car parks outside.

“I have a lawyer meeting and probably some interviews after that, I don’t want to give him motives to accuse me of cheating and breaking the prenuptial agreement” she says completely cold hearted.

He knows how difficult it’s for her to face everything going on. While they were in Canada it was easier, cause they felt like being on vacation.

But now, reality hit them hard.

“I don’t have clothes” she says laughing sarcastically before kissing him. “I’ll send someone to pick some essentials until you have something more permanent” he whispers, and kisses her softly before she gets out of the car.

She enters the hotel room, and for the first time in years, she doesn’t know what to do. She didn’t remember the last time she was alone, completely alone.

So she took a bath, letting her hair get wet, even though it was getting full of soap. She washed it after, and went straight to bed.

No Kurt, no René. She would sleep alone, and should get used to it because that’s how the next weeks would be.

But she finishes being more comfortable than she thought she would be. She enjoys the big bed all to herself, and the freedom of waking up late, although she misses Rene by her side.

She picks up a Chanel suit for her meeting, her lawyers were outside the hotel.

“Good afternoon” they said to her and she focused as much as she could to understand everything they were explaining.

“According to your prenuptial, you get the house, everything about your work, and he just gets the collection cars, and anything you earned from projects in common”  she stares at them.

“Maybe some photo shoot for a magazine, or some foundation, he will get the earned from that” they keep explaining. “Perfect” she just says.

“Kids under five will stay with you...” one of the lawyers starts saying but she cuts him off. “No kids” she says and for the first time she’s thankful, she would have never taken this decisions if she had a child with him. Or she would have done it anyway?

Her lawyers finish explaining her everything she needs to know, as they wait for Kurt and his legal team to arrive, but he doesn't show up.

"This things are never easy, this could take a while" her lawyer tells her "I don't care how, but make him sign this as soon as possible" she says before walking out of the office.

She knows the lawyer is right but she had hoped that Kurt wasn't like the rest. She goes straight to her hotel, she doesn't has the energy to face anyone right now.

When she crosses the lobby, the receptionist lets her know that she has a message and gives her a note.

“Call me as soon as you get back, Dave Johnson xx" she smiles softly as she reads the little paper, thinking about the day that he had used that name.

She picks up the phone, and her heart skips a beat the moment she hears his voice "Hi baby" he says softly, and she tells him everything that happened that afternoon.

"Do you want me to come over?" He asks, and even if there was nothing that she wanted more she needed to rest for tomorrow night.

"I would love that, but we have the press conference and a show tomorrow I want to rest” she says.
