She’s waken up by his soft caresses on her hair, a tray of coffee and eggs next to her. “I’m not hungry” she whispers. “You need to eat Cel” “just close the windows please” She whispers, covering her face with her sheets.

He is heartbroken too, he had wanted to have a child with her for months, but he couldn’t imagine what she was feeling.

She would be such an incredible mother, and that desire being taken away once she had a little bit of hope... so he just stays there with her, caressing her all day long.

He had cancelled all the meetings, the shows until the week end. “Céline is sick” he had just said, “there’s two shows until Saturday” “I don’t care, cancel them all”.

He’s reading next to her, she softly wakes up and sees him with his glasses on. “You look good” she whispers and he immediately leaves the book on the side. “Hello beautiful” he whispers.

“What time is it?” She asks. “7pm” he caresses her hair, she’s been in bed for more than 24 hours, but it just doesn’t seem enough.

“I need to shower” she mutters. “I can help you” he whispers, taking her to the bathroom and opening the water, checking it was warm enough.

He softly undresses her, is it possible she looks so small in just a day? She seems consumed, small. He helps her get in the warm waterfall.

“Want me to leave?” He asks as she closed her eyes enjoying the feeling of water soothing her body.

But he saw the red drops falling through her thighs, and he knew he just had to be there. His hand rested on her cheek, the other one on her waist, he was getting completely wet, just as the whole bathroom, but she opened her eyes and started crying again.

He just lets her succumb against him, grabbing her with all his strength to avoid her from falling. “It’s not fair” she cries over and over again.

His heart breaking again, but at least that blood had disappeared, hoping it would take her pain away. And he knows it’s not fair, he wanted to give her everything and more, because she deserved it.

He kissed her under the water, softly, she desperately held on him. “I’m sorry” she whispers. “So sorry” she cries between his lips.

“Don’t” he says taking her out of the shower, wrapping her in the towel. “I wanted to give you  a child” she whispers feeling like a failure.

“You give me everything I want” he places her on bed again. “And more” he whispers sliding her camisole through her body, softly covering her.

“We will have children some day, as many as you want” he kisses her forehead. “Whenever you are ready, we start trying again” he says and she kisses his lips.

“Want to eat something?” He asks caressing her cheek, she only nods, and he comes back as fast as he can with some soup, a steak, rice, salad. “I won’t eat for two you know that?” She says and although she’s trying to joke he can see the sadness in her eyes.

“I will help you” he kisses her, and offers her a spoon of soup so she doesn’t have to move. “I will always help you” he whispers.

“I will always hold you, when the world is crushing down” she softly lays on bed and extends her arms to him, he slowly placed himself next to her and kissed her tenderly.

“I love you” She whispers before falling asleep in his strong arms again, that made her feel small and protected.

The next couple of days are spent in bed, now she watches movies and even asked for a book, she just only needs to think of anything else but babies.
