She picks up the phone from her dressing room knowing exactly who is on the other side of the line. “Bonjour mon amour” she whispers. “It’s so good to hear your voice” he mutters. “I miss you so much” he goes on.
“I miss you too, how are the meetings going?” She asks, they are planning a new album and tour for the following year and they are excited, but she really would love to have some time off with him.
“Everything is going on wheels” “didn’t expect something different from you” she says laughing and he can’t wait to see her smiling, her heart shaped lips lightly to one side, her eyes shining bright.
“When are you coming back?” She asks. “Soon, I promise” he whispers and as soon as he hangs the phone, he takes the car to the airport. He can’t wait any longer.
He could swear that time never went by so slow, the flight semmed longer than he had expected, but he finally has arrived in New York and couldn't wait to see her.
Céline was about to take a shower when a knock on the door of her hotel room interrupted her, something strange given that it was 3am and she hasn't ordered anything.
When she opens the door her heart is about to explode, she found someone standing on her door with the biggest rose bouquet that she had seen in her life, they were all red except the white one right in the middle, but what she wasn't expecting is for René to be the one standing behind the roses.
As soon as the flowers are on a side she melts into his arms and kisses him. “What are you doing here?” She asks bringing him inside the room and closing the door behind them.
“I missed you and couldn’t wait another day to...” but her silhouette on that white nightgown is messing with his mind. “Were you expecting someone or you’re always that beautiful and sexy?” He mutters staring at her.
“I wanted you to be here and apparently my wish came true” she surrounds his neck with her hands, leaning closer to her mouth.
He clears his throat. “You make all my wishes come true, you are my biggest wish and I still can’t believe it’s a reality” he’s serious, staring at her.
“I can’t believe I get to spend every night by your side and wake up every morning next to you” he says. “Distance made you sweeter, I’ll send you away some days a month” she says giggling, clueless about what’s going on in his mind.
He tries to keep going but the way she's pressing her body against his, is making it hard for him to finish, so he steps back a little, separating their bodies.
“I missed you so much” she whispers against his neck, breathing deeply his perfume. “I missed you too” he kisses her. “You voice, your laugh” he rests his forehead against hers.
“Your incredibly soft skin” he runs his finger through her arms, stopping at her shoulder, seeing her skin getting full of goosebumps.
“I couldn’t wait any longer” he says so low that she can barely hear him. “Oh you wanted me?” She presses closer against his hips. “You should have started saying that” her tiny hand tries to unbuckle his belt.
"Come here" he says taking her hand and leading her towards the bed, she’s smiling completely sure he had won but he makes her sit there. Céline frowns her eyebrows when he doesn't come closer to her.
She's about to ask him if something is wrong when he starts laughing nervously, she just stares at him trying to understand what's happening.
"Look babe" he says but he's struggling to find the words to tell her what she means to him, tears star falling over his cheeks.
