In order to play the school girl, I need to act like a school girl. That means I have to act somewhat normal than I usually would.
Unfortunately, being normal is something that doesn't come easily to me after being raised by a villainous parent.
I fastened the belt on my skirt to a comfortable fit as I take a good look at my uniform. It was somewhat a strange feeling...I couldn't help but wonder if I was raised a bit more normally then this would have been my life.
I took a deep breath as I straightened out my skirt. Am I really going to do this?
"Miss Nanami it's time to leave!" Kazuki briefly shouted outside the door.
With a quick glance at the clock, I took a look at the time that blinked 7:30 am, gosh why did it have to be so early?
I was kindly greeted by Kazuki as I step outside my safe space. We both walked towards the car as I mentally prepare myself for this life-changing moment. Did I mention this is my first time attending school?
Due to my father's carrier choice, I was never allowed to attend school. Kazuki has always been the one to take care of me, teach me, feed me...he's basically my nanny.
He seemed to sense my nervousness as I felt a hand over my own. He gave me a comforting smile, "You will do great."
I've never had a friend before, but I've always desired to have a close relationship with someone other than Kazuki.
I squeeze my seatbelt tightly as we arrived at the school. My eyes scanned the building in slight awe, this place is huge. I look at the time again, 8:15 am. Damn. How did time pass so quickly?
"We are here Miss Nanami." Kazuki announced as he parked the car. I look out the window to see hundreds of students entering the building.
"Good luck Miss Nanami and do not be wary, everything will be fine." Kazuki said with a reassuring smile.
"Thank you Kazuki, I needed to hear that." I kindly smiled. Once I stepped outside the vehicle, I stood in place as I watched him drive off.
I take another good look at the school. It's quite amazing how big this school is...
I take a deep breath as I feel anxiety creeping up on me. Stop it Nanami! Get it together! You. Can. Do. This.
Before even taking a step towards the school, I was roughly shoved to the ground. "Gosh! I am so sorr-" I look up at the person furiously causing them to stop talking.
