I want to say it's something that I receive daily. Something that warms my heart. But I would be lying to myself.
If I'm being completely honest I don't know what love looks or really feels like.
The way my father has treated me throughout my years of living is the most love I'm ever going to get. There's never been a day that my father has genuinely told me he loved me.
No one has ever said it to me...
That's all I was thinking at this moment. I can't do this...I don't deserve it...
Our lips were centimeters apart, it took everything I had to turn my head quickly leaving Toshinori confused.
"I'm..sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable" He said with worry in his eyes.
"...It's not that...It's just.." I struggled with my words. "It's too soon. I just met you." I said coldly.

We reached Recovery girl's office as I use my left hand to push the door open. A middle-aged woman came to my view.
"Oh my! Please take a seat" She motioned me to sit on the bed.
Toshinori helped me on the bed carefully as I whined slightly.
"What happened my dear?" She asked concerned.
"Endeavor." Toshinori said clenching his fist. Wha-who in the world? No it was Enji...
"Who's that? Enji did this to me." I said raising an eyebrow. Why are they out here trying to blame an innocent man.
Toshinori chuckled slightly. "No Enji's hero name is Endeavor" He explained
I completely forgot that these people had 'hero names'...
"Oh right..." I said slightly embarrassed.
"All right now you just lie down and relax" She said coming closer.
What's this lady gonna do to me?
"I should go" Toshinori said walking towards the door.
"Wait!" I said reaching out my hand, wincing in the process. Damn this hurts...
"Be careful!" He said rushing to my side. Why does he care so much?
"Don't leave..." I whispered softly so only he could hear. Bruh, why do I care so much?
I didn't know if it was a spark, a glow, or even flicker of light, but I thought I saw something in his eyes.
I felt him squeeze my hand. "I'm not going anywhere..." His hand...it's so warm. He intertwined it with mine. I keep my eyes focused on his.
