Mia's pov
my body ached all over. My arms and legs felt like lead and I couldn't move without a great deal of pain flooding through y body. The sound of feet is heard and I turn to see who it was. Newt stands at the door just staring at me with a look of worry on his face.
"Hey newt" I say hoarsely.
"What happened red" he asks calmly.
"I don't know" I sigh "I don't remember"
"What do you mean you don't remember" alby asks.
"I was kneeling down to collect the manure and someone crashed into me knocking me over. I hit my head on something. Maybe a stone? And everything went hazy after that" I reply. Newt sighs and walks across to my side.
"Are you sure. No idea what so ever" newt asks.
"I just said that newt" I sigh trying to keep my cool
"Newt she did hit her head" one of the med jacks Clint I think his name is says
Newt sighs.
"Well I'll go let someone else in" alby says awkwardly leaving
"You had me worried red" he says which causes me to smile.
"Was little newtie worried" I tease.
"Newtie?" he asks
"Hey you call me red I call you newtie" I laugh.
He laughs along with me. I liked his smile. Wait what? I did not just say I liked newt's smile!
"I better get going" he says "there are other people outside"
I nod and he leaves.
Thomas and Teresa walk in next each are grinning from ear to ear.
"You like newt's smile huh" Thomas teases.
"You heard that" I groan flushing red.
"Uhuh. If it makes you feel better he seems to only smile when your around" Teresa states.
That just makes me blush brighter.
"Aww look. She's turning as red as her hair" Thomas laughs.
"Just you wait Tommy" I say evilly.
"I'm so scared" he laughs
"So you should be" I reply.
All three of us fall about laughing.
"Come on you two. Out" Jeff says walking into the room "she needs rest"
The two of them leave and Jeff leaves as well.
"Night" I say in my head. They mumble there nights back.
I'm standing in what looks like a meadow. Except the grass was almost all dead. "Only us left 12" a voice growls. "I honestly thought you would be dead by now" a girl about 18 appears swinging a sword easily. She was a lot bigger than me. "Oh well. Let's make this exciting then" "mutts" I scream as giant lizard like creatures walk out of the forest. "Except this time. It'll be you not me" the girl growls. She trips me up and there is nothing I can do as the mutts catch up to me. They rip and tear at whatever flesh they can find until finally. Everything goes black
I wake up screaming and someone trying to comfort me. I scramble backwards thinking the mutts were back again. When I notice its Teresa I stop. I have to blink the tears out of my eyes.
"What the bloody hell is going on" newt yells walking in. "You sound like your being bloody murdered"
I just stare wide eyed at everyone. I can't speak. How do you speak after that?
"Well" alby growls.
I finally manage to choke something out "sorry?" It was more of a question than a statement.
