Good Girls

Chapter 11

Draco awoke to brown curls strewn across his chest and arms encircling his mid section. He smiled and placed a kiss on top of Hermione's head while slowly getting up from the bed. He heard a whoosh from the fireplace down the hall and turned to see Blaise step out of the flames.

"Hey mate, how's visiting your girlfriend?" Blaise asked.

"It's been good. What are you doing here?" Draco asked, moving to close the door so Hermione was not awoken.

Blaise smirked and put his foot against the door, keeping it from closing. "So you and Granger finally slept together. I really didn't expect that from her. You've only been dating for a few months."

"Blaise shut up. What we did do or didn't do is none of your business. And not that you need to know, but it's our 6 month anniversary this week. And I plan to make it a big deal,"

"Draco Malfoy is a romantic? Who would have thought? Tell me you slept with her. That's the only explanation for you acting this way." Hermione woke up hearing muffled voices at the door. She poked her head outside of the door and saw Draco and Blaise whispering.

"Blaise that doesn't matter to me. I'm in love with her. She's everything good in this world"

"Draco?" Hermione asked quietly. Blaise and Draco's eyes moved to look at Hermione, who was in a tank top and pajama shorts. Draco reached for her and pulled her to his side. He placed a kiss on the side of her head and she placed her head on his shoulder.

"Wow Granger, you've really got him wrapped around your finger."

"Blaise, not to be obtuse, but is there a reason you're in my home?" she asked bluntly. Draco laughed quietly.

Blaise scrunched his face at the comment. "Well, Draco's family is under the impression that he is staying with me for the week. So I came to drop off this portkey," he said pointing to the quill, "in the offchance that his parents show up randomly asking where their son is."

Draco took the portkey and went back into his room for the week to put it in a place where it wouldn't be used accidentally. Hermione smiled at Blaise. "You're a good friend to him. Thank you," she said as she gave him a small hug.

Blaise was taken aback. Hermione Granger was thanking him. This was something he never expected. Draco walked back out of the room and leaned against the doorframe, looking at his girlfriend and best friend interacting. Blaise looked at Draco and whispered "she's a catch Malfoy, don't you dare lose her," and entered the fireplace. In a flash of green he was gone.

Draco turned to see Hermione holding out her hand for him. He placed his hand in hers and they walked down the stairs to the kitchen.

"Did you two sleep well?" Mrs. Granger asked as she was making waffles. Hermione smiled and leaned into Draco, who placed a small kiss on her forehead.

"Very well Mrs. Granger. I think Hermione kept my bad dreams at bay."

"Hmm your very own dream catcher" she said. Hermione laughed and sat down at the kitchen island. They ate waffles, while talking about their plans for the day.

"I'll show you around London and we can do every tourist-y thing possible." Hermione explained.

"I'm excited. A whole day with you in muggle London will be so much fun," Draco said standing up and walking up the stairs to get changed. Hermione picked up the dishes and placed them in the sink.

"He's so in love with you sweetie,"

"I love him Mum. He makes me feel complete."

"Oh my love I am so happy for the two of you. Just make sure you don't let him cloud your judgement."

"Mum I know. He's already been so understanding." She said with the biggest smile and walked up the stairs. Hermione changed into a sundress and small heels before walking into Draco's room. She stopped in the doorway as her eyes landed on him buttoning his shirt. He looked up at her and smirked.

"Like what you see?" Hermione nodded lightly and stepped into his room. He pushed her against the wall lightly and kissed her. She softly moved her hands along his chest and pushed the shirt off of his shoulders. She pulled away and lightly grazed his neck with her teeth leaving a little mark. "It is taking everything in me not to make you mine on the bed."

"Draco Malfoy you flirt," she said with a laugh. He smiled and cradled her in his arms. "We should get going. I have a whole day planned,"

"Your wish is my command princess," Draco said holding her waist. She reached up and buttoned his shirt, making sure there were no creases. The couple walked to the floo and floo'ed to a wizard shop near muggle London.

They spent the day in London, beginning with walking through Piccadilly Circus, across the Tower Bridge, going on the London Eye, and sightseeing famous monuments like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. They returned to the Granger home at nightfall.

"Did you two have a good day?" Mr. Granger asked as they walked into the living room.

"It was so much fun Dad. I'm so glad Draco came to visit"

"The pleasure was all mine dear. Thank you for showing me your favorite things," he said as he kissed her cheek lightly and walked into the kitchen. Hermione could hear him talking to her mother and asking if she needed help with anything.

"So what do you think of him?" Hermione asked her dad as she sat down next to him on the sofa.

"I like him sweetheart. He clearly treats you well." Hermione smiled and hugged her dad.

"He's a perfect gentleman dad. I can't believe I'm so lucky" she said as she stood up and walked up the stairs. She walked past the guest room to see Draco furiously pacing. "Draco what's wrong?"

"Oh Mione I have to head home tomorrow morning for some sort of stupid emergency. I can't believe we can't spend our 6 month anniversary together. This is ridiculous."

"It's ok Draco. Now let's get ready for bed. I want to read to you tonight."

Draco smiled and hugged his girlfriend, pulling her onto the bed. "I'm ready for my bedtime story," he said, looking down at her. She laughed and hit him lightly, standing up. In a minute, she returned in her pajamas with a book in hand.

"Well Mr. Malfoy, it's time to go to bed," she said as she laid down on the bed and curled into his arms.
