After spending the weekend with her family, Hermione and Draco returned to England, preferring this time to fly back on an airplane. Trans-continental apparition was very draining and Draco didn't want to risk his or Hermione's health again.

When they finally landed, Hermione smiled as Draco led her to a black towncar. "I decided we as well act like muggles all day," he said with a grin. Hermione nodded, kissing his cheek lightly before stepping into the vehicle. Draco followed, giving directions of the manor to the driver.

When they arrived home, Hermione announced she was taking a bath and Draco nodded, making his way to the kitchen for a snack. While eating some pretzels and watching the wizard news, he heard the sound of the library floo being activated. He stood up, wand at his side, and made his way into the room.

He was met by Harry Potter and Ron Weasley coming out of the grate, looking angry and upset. Blaise followed them, rolling his eyes and grinning at Draco.

"To what do I owe this pleasure?" Draco asked monotonously, not being very impressed by their presence in his home. He stepped to the side and hugged Blaise, a smile breaking through his straight-face.

"Where's Hermione? I've been trying to reach her since last week?" Harry asked, crossing his arms.

"All of our owls came back with our messages. What is going on?" Ron continued, dusting his shoulder.

"These two dragged me here against my will. How is my dear friend Mione? Still being difficult?" Blaise asked, grinning.

Draco laughed. "She's absolutely trying to murder me with her wishes but she's my girl and it's not like I can say no. I mean you can't say no to her." Blaise rolled his eyed and Draco punched him lightly. "I'm not whipped Zabini."

Harry and Ron looked at him, clearing their throats. "Oh yeah sorry we went to visit her family in Australia over the weekend and just got back," Draco said checking his watch, "about two hours ago. She's upstairs showering. Let me go get her."

"And Malfoy?" Ron said, stopping him in his tracks as he walked up the stairs.

"Yes Weasley?"

"You are 100% whipped. Wrapped around her finger. Completely under her spell." Draco laughed heartedly and continued up the stairs, going to get his fiancé. Meanwhile, Harry looked at Ron quizzically. "What? I'm not lying. As Luna said, he worships the ground she walks on."

"Still can't believe how supportive you are Weasley. It's refreshing," Blaise said, sitting down at the couch with his feet on the coffee table. Ron stuck his tongue out at him.

"Blaise get your feet off of my table," Hermione scolded as she walked down the stairs, with Draco trailing after her, grinning slightly. Blaise jumped and moved his feet muttering an apology. "And you two, how dare you barge into my home and ask my fiancé where I am as if I'm some lost property. If I'm with Draco then I'm safe," she said, huffing and folding her arms. The boys looked at her in fear as they stood without moving.

"We were just worried. A little heads up would've been nice."

"I love the both of you so much," she said stepping closer to them. "But we're not at Hogwarts where we see each other every day. We all have our separate lives, even though I'm so happy to see you two as often as I do."

"We're sorry Mione. Just not used to the way things are now," Harry said. Hermione smiled and hugged the both of them.

"Any other reason for your visit? Or was it just to grill Draco?"

"They're having a ball in our honor next week. You would've gotten the invitation but all of your owls rerouted back to the Ministry. Here's all the mail you missed. Anyway, we hope you can come. It wouldn't be the same without you," Ron replied. Hermione nodded, opening the invitation from the stack of papers.

"It seems that everyone from Hogwarts was invited. They want our input on some decorations and food. And those being honored will be expected to dance?" She said as her eyes darted across the invitation. She looked up and rolled her eyes. "What is with the Wizarding World and dancing? Anyway, I'll be there." She said smiling. "And Ronald, do find better dress robes for this ball," she said teasingly. Ron laughed and hugged her lightly.

"Will do. And you, go to the dance with a boy that doesn't make you cry."

"Hmm, Zabini, wanna go to the ball together?" Hermione asked with a smirk. Draco rolled his eyes.

"By all means, I'm fine with staying home," Draco said, sitting down on the armchair. Hermione's smile fell as she walked over to him and kissed his forehead.

"As if I would waste our years of dancing." she whispered, holding his hand softly.

"Alright well I'll see you guys at work on Monday and then we can figure out logistics for what they asked for." Her friends nodded and hugged her before the floo'ed away. Blaise pulled Hermione into a big bear hug before leaving. He looked at Draco with a grin and saluted before stepping into the fireplace. After they left, Draco pulled Hermione into his arms, swaying with her in the middle of the library.

"So I'm assuming you want to tell everyone at the ball?"

"It would make it easier. Are you okay with that?" She asked, looking up at him.

"Anything for you." He whispered, kissing her softly. "I apparently am completely under your spell. Didn't give me a love potion did you?"

"No love potions. Just a simple love spell. It's called romance darling."
