Hermione hadn't had a moment alone with her boyfriend ever since that evil wench of a woman, Umbridge, had shown up and turned Hogwarts upside down. And Hermione had been swamped with DA as well as her own personal endeavor of furthering SPEW.

It's not like they wouldn't sneak glances in class, touch hands while walking past each other in the halls, or send lettersconstantly. But it was rather ridiculous that they hadn't had a moment alone ever since their 6 month anniversary. Even on the train ride in things had gotten in their way. And by things she had clearly meant her two best friends fearing she would get murdered if left alone. Even Christmas was boring, because she could not escape the Order.

Hermione sat in her usual spot in the library, watching snow fall from the sky as the clouds got darker, signaling nightfall was almost there. She looked up and made a face, seeing as she expected to get more work done but had other things on her mind. She stood up to stretch her legs and find another book to use for her essay on 5 ways to avoid protect oneself without the use of magic. She had never hated school so much.

She walked through the books isles, running her finger over book spines, looking for any book to catch her eye. She found one that she thought would work well and looked pulled it out of the shelf. She looked through the spot she had pulled a book to see a girl smiling up at a boy, her boy. Hermione huffed and walked around the bookshelf to see Pansy Parkinson flirting with her boyfriend and Draco looking as if he would rather die than put up with it any longer.

Hermione grinned and leaned against the bookshelf behind Pansy, mimicking her by smiling and twirling her hair. Draco saw her and smiled lightly, his eyes looking her up and down mischievously. Pansy kept talking about something useless but Draco mindlessly nodded and watched Hermione pack up her bags and head out of the library. Draco followed, telling Pansy he had to use the loo for a moment.

Hermione stood outside the library, in a dark hallway that was shielded from the main corridor. Draco smiled and found her, pushing her against the wall. "I have missed you, my princess"

"Hmm I don't believe you," she said with a smirk. Draco laughed and leaned in to kiss her. He closed the space between them as she wrapped her legs around his waist, moving against him lightly. He groaned and kissed her harder. She pulled away, breathless, and smiled. "Ok I guess I believe you."

Draco smirked and moved to kiss her again. Hermione leaned in and wrapped her arms around his neck, playing with his hair. The two were engrossed in one another, making up for lost time, until the heard a noise.

"who's there?" Came a nasally voice the pair both knew far too well. Hermione's eyes widened as she pulled away from her boyfriend and scrambled to fix her clothes.

Draco smoothed out his shirt, and upon a nod from Hermione, called out, "Professor, it's me, Draco Malfoy. I was just checking to see if anyone was roaming the halls, doing anything suspicious."

"Did you find anyone dear?" She asked stepping closer. Draco walked towards her quickly and shook his head.

"No one in there Professor. It was probably just a loose frog or rat."

"Well thank you for your continuous hard work. I commend all your effort." She said as she walked way.

"Thank you Professor. I'm just going to grab my bag from the bench and then do some more rounds." Draco turned and looked at Hermione, who looked at him with a glare.

"Perfect Draco Malfoy strikes again,"

"Yes, well, you're the one in love with him." He said with a smirk. She grinned and smacked his arm. He grabbed her hand and pulled her into him.

"Now where were we?" He asked. She looked up at him and tilted her head. He bent down and picked her up, wrapping her legs around his waist. He kissed her neck as she tilted her head back and grinned.

"Draco were going to get caught if we keep doing this,"

"Mi, I don't know what else to do. Umbridge has everywhere else on lockdown."

"I know a place. But promise me you won't tell anyone,"

"I promise."

Hermione held his hand and led him to the seventh floor, where she paced across the wall 3 times thinking "I need a place for us to be alone,". The door appeared and she pulled him inside without a second wasted. He looked around, with his mouth slightly ajar.

In the room there was a fireplace with couches, floor to ceiling bookshelves, and a four poster bed with a purple comforter that looked a lot like Hermione's from her bedroom at home. Draco smiled and pulled her onto the bed. "Interesting place Mione. What is it?" He asked looking at her.

"The Room of Requirement. It's basically a room where you wish for whatever you want and it appears on demand."

"So you're telling me, you wished for a bed," Draco asked mischievously.

Hermione smacked him upside the head and shook her head slightly. "No I wished for somewhere we could be alone. The room did the rest."

"Well it's a shame that the room conjured you this bed and we're not using it. Now come here," he said, patting the spot next to him. She crawled over to him and cuddled into his side, placing her head in the crook of his neck.

"Draco?" She asked lightly

"Mhm?"

"Are you upset with me?"

"Not at all Mi. I'm very content. What makes you think that?"

"Well I know a lot of guys have been talking about sleeping with girls and I'm just worried you haven't spent time with me lately because I'm not ready,"

Draco shifted, tilting Hermione's face up towards his, "I'm going to say this once, ok? I would wait forever if it meant you were comfortable and happy. I would never rush you with something like that. I'm in love with you, you know-it-all, and I want to spend forever with you. So I don't care about something as minuscule as the idea of when we do it. The only thing I want is for you to be my one and my only. Ok?"

Hermione smiled and blushed. She leaned up and kissed him lightly. "Thank you. I don't deserve you,"

"You deserve so much more than me. But I'm just thankful you waste your time with me."

"Draco I want you to be my one and only too. I don't want anyone else" Draco smiled from ear to ear and hugged her tightly, kissing her head.

"It's getting late Mi. We should get going,"

"Or we could stay here over night. That night at my parents was one of the best night's sleep I have ever had." Draco nodded and pulled her into his arms, wrapping his arms around her torso.

"Me too Hermione." He whispered. "I love you"

"I love you too," she said quietly as she closed her eyes and slept peacefully, knowing she was safe and secure in the arms of her beloved.
