So sorry for taking so long to update. Life was kind of coming at me fast and I had a bunch of midterms this week and last.
But how are you guys feeling?

Nora was so elegant and lady like. She sat across from me, poised with her back straight and legs crossed. Her manicured hands rested idly at her lap. A smile was present on her face as she took in my appearance. She was mature and sophisticated with probably years of experience about love and life. I was an amateur reeling from a past abusive relationship that still seemed so fresh.
We were not the same.
I glanced over myself countless times trying to figure just where I went wrong. Even with the thousand dollar custom made outfit that Mugen bought me on, something about our attire was so.....
Different.
She wore it like a qualified champion grounded in her prime. There was not an ounce of hesitance or a shroud of uncertainty. She was secure in who she was and she wore her strength proudly.
Why can't I be like that?
"You look lovely." My legs bounced nervously. The silence was crucifying. It felt like she was judging me. Her soft features looked so smug as if she was laughing to herself at what a misfortune I was.
No, no, no, stop comparing yourself to her. You did not go to therapy to work on your self esteem just to become bothered but a pretty woman.
I cleared my throat and wiped my hands on my shirt.
Deep breath. I'm sure she's nice. Ruben doesn't seem like the time to marry a psychobitch. Just smile and relax.
Nora chuckled to herself. "You didn't have to sit so far away from me. I don't have cooties if that's what you're worried about."
"Of course not." I don't know why my voice sounded so breathless. "So what brings you here?"
"The look on your face just screams suspicion and unease. Rest assured, this is a purely business related visit. Ruben asked me to drop some files off for Mugen." She leaned a little closer. "But just between you and me, I was dying to see my dear sister in law."
I gasped lowly and she was chuckling again, using a free hand to muffle the sounds.
"We're not- I mean haven't- But I-." I babbled nervously and this time she was full blown laughing.
"But you're in the ending stages of getting there, no?"
"What makes you so sure of that?" I frowned slightly, not liking the fact she's reading me like an open book.
"Because Mugen isn't exactly the type to give himself away to anyone, no less a woman."
"He hasn't given himself to me."
She gave me an incredulous stare. "I know you're not this dense. This man did all but physically cut out his heart and give it to you."
"No." I don't even know what I was defending. "He only-I mean-He just-."
"Fell madly and hopelessly in love with you. Come on. There's no need for you to be modest about it. The fact that he willingly, keyword willingly, wanted to love and take care of you shows just how much you mean to him. It's not like he forcefully kept you here against your will so I know you being here still after all this time means that you care about him too. Right?"
