~Ariana's POV~
I unlocked the door to my apartment and walked in, noticing unsurprised that the house was uninhabited, of course they wouldn't return home tonight, not when they knew they were in deep trouble with me, rolling my eyes I walked up the stairs to my room.

While in the shower, I felt as though there was now a presence in the house, although I didn't hear the door open, it was probably Sky and Luca sneaking in, hoping I was asleep.

After my shower, I dried myself and pulled on some panties, and a huge white shirt which was admittedly a bit see through, however I knew neither of those two traitors would come out of their room, they wouldn't want to risk my wrath.

I stared lovingly at my saxophone but grabbed my guitar case instead, heading to the room adjoining mine, I turned on the lights, looking around at the see through glass walls, that enabled me see out the room into the hallway, my grand piano sat lazily off to the corner, and then the shelves filled up with books at the other end, this was kind off my music room/study room.

Taking a seat on the marble table, I unzipped my guitar case, pulling it out and caressing the strings.

I positioned it properly and began playing a soft tone, humming, after some minutes, I changed my tone and my voice rang out filling the room with the song that had been ringing in my head, even as I soothed my aching heart.

"Still got the flowers that you sent,
And the note you wrote that said, that we're meant to be forever.
I keep them all as evidence, in a drawer under the mirror, filled with empty promises...."
I paused, sighing sadly before continuing.

"I don't know why I keep, letting you lie to me, hard as I try it seems, I can't break away...
I thought that you would be the hero, come and save the day,
But you're a villain, your sins unforgiven..."

"I'm going down and you have watched me drown,
In a river of tears, lost beneath the stream...
Under the waves, I've found the strength to say,
The river of tears, has washed me clean."
My eyes fluttered close, as the words flowed out my mouth, filled with so much emotions.

"Go 'head and wish me well, I'll cry a wishing well,
I'll fly before I fail
I'll set sail and drift away, so I won't need you here,
Love sinks and hope floats
In a river of tears
In a river of tears."

I unconsciously registered the feeling of being watched but I brushed it off, even as images of them flashed behind my closed eyes and my heart tightened in pain and longing.

"I catch your scent in every wind
And I recall the love we had.
I can't pretend that I don't miss you every now and then.
But the hurt is for the better,
Moving on is now or never.
Lost in the tide, I can't keep my pillows dry
Like there's a sea in my eyes,
I realize, that sometimes life brings you flowers and then it builds you coffins
And far too often,
We end up falling to our demise."

"I'm going down and you have watched me drown,
In a river of tears, lost beneath the stream...
Under the waves, I've found the strength to say,
The river of tears, has washed me clean
Go 'head and wish me well, I'll cry a wishing well,
I'll fly before I fail
I'll set sail and drift away, so I won't need you here,
Love sinks and hope floats
In a river of tears
In a river of tears."

I paused again, my voice trembling as I continued

"Cry me a river, build myself a bridge,
I'm over this, can't let memories become the death of me
I'm glad to see everything that you are,
And I believe that you are, everything I needed,
But I don't need no more."
