Poseidon watched the skies as it was engulfed in darkness.

Celene sat on a moist rock looking up at the moon and stars, trying to distract herself from her reality. To lay among the stars and feel the soft embrace of clouds, and listen to the waves below, was paradise.

The waterfall next to her rushed from the top and pooled at bank. This was the same pond she had seen that strong man, and a part of her wanted to see the unknown man again. The other part of her knew the dangers of what lie ahead if she wait in this darkness any longer.

Poseidon looked up at her from the cool water and decided it was time, time to finally have his future bride.

His body rose from the waters; at this point Celene was not startled but in a way she was elated. His eyes focused on his love, sending a small wave toward her she took this as a sign to join him.

First her feet dipped into the cool water, then her legs sank into the mud underneath and soon her womanhood was cloaked in the darkness of the water. Poseidon smiled from ear to ear, thinking of finally being close with her.

"Come to me, my love"

"Yes"

They embraced each other in the light of the moon and he held her until the sun the came up. Whispering promises and stealing chaste kisses, she was his for all the world to see.
