take me through your comets,
through stars that make up your cheeks
and over planets that sparkle
like your eyes.
take me to the sun,
lets sip rays of molten sunshine
until our throats scream a prayer
for redemption,
and tan until freckles
look more like constellations.
fly me to the moon,
carve your beauty onto my lungs
so that this moment
can last for centuries
- or at least the memory of it will -
because the galaxies aligned
for this exact moment with you,
and i would hate to loose it
somewhere between now
and immortality
