The sun had finally gone up and they were just waiting for anything to happen. Arsyn opened the hatch above and climbed out feeling the warm air. This silence was almost maddening.

She heard a noise climb up behind her. She peeked seeing IG-11 bring her a warm meal. He couldn't help but scan her getting readings of her emotions "Your heart-rate is abnormally high. Are you feeling unwell?"

"No. It's probably anxiety that you're sensing." She explains. Arsyn stared down at the food, she didn't feel hungry, but that's what happens when you're scared; loss of appetite.

"Not to worry. If they do not come back, I will protect you." IG-11 had been taking his role as a nurse droid seriously, taking care of the only living things around. He made sure everyone on board got a full night's rest and they remained hydrated and fed.

"You are afraid for the child as well." He says it in an off-puttingly emotional way like he was afraid as well.

"Are you its mother?" IG turns to examine her. She doesn't look like the child, but perhaps the Mandalorian does. She didn't hesitate to agree.

"Sort of. We don't know who his real mother is, or where he came from." She answered. "We couldn't leave him to fend for himself, more now than ever."

"So, you and the Mandalorian are surrogates then." He implies. She could see it that way, after everything. They were all he had that was close enough to a mother and a father.

"It's complicated. But, yes."

"I scanned both of you. Heart-rate increases, nerve systems increases." He informed. "The two of you calm each other, your heart-rate increased when they left."

Of course, it did. She was terrified of the outcome of this little negotiation. She would only be at peace when this was all over—an by over she meant that they came out alive.

"Did they already eat?" She mentioned the two warriors below.

"Of course. Miss Eros, awoke from her slumber the moment the food was prepared." He explained. They looked out seeing nothing changed within the last few hours, every curve, in whatever angle hadn't changed, not even the sky. At this point, it felt like no one was coming...

The lava below moved at a slow pace, it was almost like an illusion seeing it move one direction to another. She stared at it, and the longer she did the more she began to drift into a daydream.
