24. One Final Night

July 31st, 2019

Ella Brooks

9:01p.m.

I'm finally home from an exhausted day at work. I sold so many books today that I was surprised people wanted to read. Usually we're only busy during dinner/fast hour. Fast hour is when five o'clock traffic happens due to almost everyone getting off work. And, heading off to their home or families.
Anyways, I unlock my door heading inside getting a whiff of food from the kitchen. The aroma instantly makes my mouth water from how delicious it smelt. When I walk into the kitchen to see Noen setting the third plate of waffles onto the dining table. He turned when he heard me stepping towards the kitchen area. He smiled at me greeting me with a wave.

"I made dinner," He said awkwardly, "I got tired of take out." I chuckled knowing he was. He did the gesture stating me to go towards my room. I do as told. Once I enter my bedroom I close the door behind me heading straight for the closet. I go in picking out a large black t-shirt and some shorts to sleep in tonight.
After I am out of my work clothing I head back out there to see Noen and Caleb sitting at the table waiting for me. It shocked me but, I smiled at them and sat in between them anyways. We all dung into our food thanking Noen for cooking.

After dinner I grab my towel deciding to leave my bathroom door unlocked just in case Caleb wanted to come in. Once, I get the water running to the temperature I had wanted it on. I got in closing the curtain. As I begin to get my hair wet and I turned so the water was beating on my chest. It felt so nice to shower after a long exhausted day at work. I feel a presence behind me. I feel his hands resting on my waist.

"'Mind if I join?" He whispered in my ear. I turn around to see him standing over me due to how tall he is. He sighs running his hand through his hair.

"One final night," he mumbled. I pulled him down to me pressing my lips against his. We somehow switch around so his back is facing the water now. At some point we slowly pull apart so he can get his hair wet. The water slowly going down his body definitely felt different.
After his hair was wet he looked back down at me placing his lips gently against mine. I kiss back remembering my fantasy a month or two back.

"Jump," He mumbled. I did and luckily I didn't fall. I wrapped my legs around his torso as I felt him place kisses against my neck. A bunch of soft moans escaping my lips. As my breathing began to get heavy quickly. His hands roaming against my naked body.

Her soft and small body against my hands felt amazing and perfectly in my grip. I couldn't get over how beautiful she looked. She just made everything look incredible and my thoughts running miles per hour.

At some point we both got lost into each other. Letting each other feel what we were feeling. After we washed ourselves and partially dried each other off. We rushed into my bedroom. He got on top of me placing more kisses against my neck. I was pulling him closer to me letting the cold water droplets from his hair touch my skin. It made the sensual air more intense and heated.

"One final night," he mumbled as we switched so I was on top. We wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer as I placed intense kisses against his neck. I heard his breathing getting heavier as did mine. At some I felt him slip inside me. I gasped from the feeling. As I begin to grind against him. Our wet hair, our bodies still wet from the shower. Him inside of me.

I've never wanted him more than I do now. His touch took me to places I've never been before and I realized something so more intimate than anything in my life. We then again, got lost in the moment of making love.

I was lying on my stomach and Caleb had his head rested on my back. At some point I felt his finger tips brush against my skin tracing small light circles on my back. We both stayed silent truly enjoying this moment together. For one final night, not knowing what tomorrow will bring.

"When I first met you, at the animal shelter when I was in dog form... I didn't think you actually wanted Noen and I. You came and visited everyday... and we truly enjoyed your company... But, the day you told us you were gonna take us home... I just knew there was definitely something I couldn't exactly brush off about you. When you first saw me in person I couldn't help but, smile. You seemed intimidated by me ... and how tall I am, how muscular. Deep down, I didn't want you afraid of me." He stopped talking for a moment. I knew he wanted to say more, but I needed to process what he's trying to say.

"I couldn't keep my eyes off you," he whispered in my ear. I felt heat rise to my cheeks. My face was growing hot and I began to grow more nervous.

"The way you held my hand at Target, the way you played with my hair as we read books or watched the movies. The warmth and scent I got from you when we cuddled. You smelt like Cherry Blossoms..." he chuckled lightly to himself at the last sentence which made me smile.

"I just ... I knew there was something different about you... and...."

I wanted to say it. I want to tell her so badly that I love her. I got up and moved a little more. I watch Ella adjust herself and turn her body around so she was facing me. This made me even more nervous and I felt the butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I felt my breathing getting heavy as we both slowly leaned in. Our lips meeting together. They move in a perfect sync together as I get back on top of her.

1:15a.m.

"Caleb, I love you," Ella said randomly as we were cuddling again. Our breathing going back to normal. I smiled relieved that she and I have been wanting to say it.

"I love you, Ella," I kiss the top of her forehead. She smiles up at me. I see her yawn knowing she's probably tired now. She rests her head back on my chest with her eyes closed.
I sigh not knowing what'll happen tomorrow. I lied there staring at the ceiling. At some point Ella's body relax and she was asleep. I just thought would my visions not be a thing after I transform back into a human fully? Would Noen's mind reading powers go away? What would slowly happen.

The next thing I knew I was counting sheep until I felt myself slowly become more tired. My eyelids were getting heavy and I fell asleep.
