9. "I had Fun."

"Did you have fun, Ashley?" I asked her when the boys got out of the limo. She turn to me and nodded.

"I like Noen a lot but, he's secretive... Are you sure he likes me?-"

"Yes I'm sure," I interrupt making her nerves ease down a bit, "He just has things to deal with. You know?" She nods understanding what I was telling her.

"Do you have feelings for Ashton still?" She asked me as I noticed Caleb and Noen conversing amongst themselves outside. I sigh in happiness but I don't know.

"I don't know ... Ashton's a good guy but um..."

"Mixed Signals? I get it. Well, I'll see you Tuesday Evening for our sleepover," She said. I nod smiling at her mumbling a 'see ya' before exiting the vehicle. Caleb and Noen stop talking looking directly at me.

"Do you have everything?" Caleb questioned. I nod knowing my purse is wrapped around me. Caleb holds out his hand, I take it as we both walk to my front porch. Noen opens the screen door for me I unlock the front door letting us all in. I go in first, Caleb behind me and then Noen behind him.

"You guys can get ready for bed. Imma smoke after I change," Noen nods heading into their bedroom. I raise a brow at Caleb puzzled by why he's standing there watching me.

"I just ... wanted to ... tell you ..." he began rubbing the back of his neck. I loved how cute he was being so I smiled at him as he continued, "I had fun tonight."

I study him then nod with a shy smile, "I did too." He grinned at me then entered the bedroom. I sighed then headed into mine. I began to question my feelings for Caleb and Ashton.

I unzip my dress letting it go down. The only piece of clothing I was wearing was my underwear. I pick up the dress setting it on my bed. I go into my closet grabbing a large t-shirt and shorts. I also grab the bag that the dress hung in. I put the dress back into the bag used for designer custom dresses and hang it back into my closet. I put on a t-shirt and the shorts. I grab a joint and lighter exiting my bedroom heading to the backyard.

I light it up taking a hit off of it. Easing my mind of things I've thought about.

"You seem pretty happy," Noen spoke out of nowhere. I take a minute to process what he said and I smile agreeing with him.

"I did.. a lot," I say the last part quietly. I get undressed folding almost all of the clothes nicely putting them in the bags. I hang up the shirt and tux into the walk in closet. Noen did the same thing after. I put on a white t-shirt and tan shorts so I could talk to Ella for a moment.

I exit our bedroom closing the door behind me. I go into the living room turning right to see the kitchen and the door to the backyard. I walk towards the door turning the door knob to go outside. Which I do and I plant my butt next to Ella who was smoking.

"When's Ashton coming over?" I asked her. I felt her eyes turn at me wide from the shocking question I had asked. I got visions I wasn't that stupid.

"This weekend. He's spending the night tomorrow," She responded. I nodded as I looked at the stars taking in everything.

"Well, What're you gonna tell him?" I asked her waiting for something. She sighs running her right hand through her hair. The way she played with her hair got to me badly. Just the way she looked in general ... I hated how badly I had wanted to kiss her. I have no idea why the urge was there strongly and deeply.

"You and Noen are my roommates," She replies. I nod again as she looks at me. She studies me for a minute and I attempt not to make it obvious that I was thinking about her like that. With the way she smiled at me ... Ella has read my mind.

"You're adorable," She said slightly brushing her arm against my own. She had a gorgeous smile and it made me smile. I felt all giddy and fulfilled with adrenaline rushing through my body.

I lie in my bed for the first time in a long time. I cannot sleep but I wonder how Ella is feeling. Noen sits up leaning in my direction.

"Dude, I want to sleep. Just go check and see if she's awake," Noen mumbled then turned so his back was facing me. I sigh as I get up and exit the room. I walk down the hallway going straight for the living room turn right to see the screen door locked. Then I go past the kitchen and for her bedroom.

She was watching a television show on Netflix. When she noticed me she paused the TV. She sat up on her bed. I noticed her eyes were bloodshot and visions ran through my head.. I hope Noen heard my thoughts loud and clear.

"Wanna sleep here tonight?" Ella asked. I nodded as she turned off the TV. I walk towards her wrapping my arms around her as we lie there.

I'm beginning to fall for Ella Brooks. Yet, I have until September 1st to gain her love in return. I decided to say something she'd be shocked to hear, "Thanks.."

"You don't have to.." She murmured. As I lightly squeeze her before I drift off asleep.
