Caleb Finn
"They both lived happily ever after," I finished telling the story to my little ones.
"That's why I love this story so much," Elizabeth said in glee as she hugged herself falling against her own bed. I didn't blame her for acting that way.
"Yuck! That was the grossest story I've ever heard!" Lincoln said being dramatic about the story. I rolled my eyes when I saw Cameron tug on my shirt hugging his teddy bear close.
"Do you think I'll fall in love one day?" Cameron asked with hope in his eyes. I rubbed his hair as I pulled him close.
"One day. But, we'll talk about it when you're older," I replied tickling him a bit. Cameron got off Elizabeth's bed standing tall. Making the salute motion they do in the Army.
"Yes, sir!" I chuckled as I grabbed Lincoln picking him up.
"Do werewolves really exist?" Elizabeth asked once she sat up staring at me.
"I believe they do," She gasped in excitement as she ran into her closet. I put Lincoln back down because he was constantly squirming. I sighed in happiness afterwards. My three little ones make life easier to handle sometimes.
"Bedtime stories without me again?" I hear turning at the door to see Ella, my wife, leaning against the door frame. I smiled as I walked to her.
"They wanted the Werewolf story," Hoping she got the hint that they wanted to hear our story for the third time. She made an 'O' shape with her mouth. She placed a kiss on my cheek before moving into the bedroom.
"Okay, Children it's time for bed. We had a long day today," All the kids awed in unison not wanting to go to bed.
"The skies awake, so I'm awake," Elizabeth quoted from Frozen. I secretly love that movie so, I don't blame the kids for loving it as well.
"You're not Anna," Cameron said as Ella picked him up.
"Hush, Hush! No time to argue. C'mon, Lincoln," Ella said as he reluctantly followed behind her. Elizabeth gets up picking up the toys she found putting them back where they belong. Then she went into the closet you could hear some of the boxes. She comes back out in her night gown. I smile as she runs to me. I pick her up setting her down on the bed. As she gets comfortable under the comforters. I help tuck her in making her giggly.
"Do you believe in werewolves because you were once a werewolf?" I was shocked to be asked such a question. But, it was true.
"Yeah," I say honestly. At least Elizabeth was old enough to know about it.
"I love you, Dad," She says. I kiss her forehead and then her hand.
"I love you too. Sleep well, Liz," She smiled as she turned to her side resting. I smile as I exit closing the door behind me. Ella closes the boys' door as I stand in the hall. She smiles at me as we both head for our bedroom.
"So, were you the one who told Elizabeth about our past?" I asked Ella. Her cheeks grew a bright pink and glanced around suspiciously shrugging her shoulders. I chuckled as I take off my shirt and wear shorts I usually would sleep in.
"She was curious," Ella finally said. I sigh shaking my head at her. I turn on my side as she turns her lamp off. The room dark the only light in here is the moonlight. It was perfect for an October night in Australia.
"Do you think we'll have another girl?" I open my eyes in shock as I turn to her. I see her hand me a picture from the ultra sound. A baby was shown in the picture.
"Are you saying that we're-"
"Having another baby? Yes," she smiled as I examined the picture. I was excited to have another baby, "They're 16 weeks old." I finally noticed the baby bump visibly showing.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked her.
"I just wanted to... wait. Make sure everything is good, Caleb. We've had two miscarriages," I nod handing her back the picture. Once she puts it back she lays closer to me. I wrap my arm around her.
"I will love our children no matter what, Ella. I promise everything will be fine," I kissed her cheek before we slowly drifted off to sleep.

*Three years later*
Ella Brooks
"We're going to be late to their Wedding!" I exclaimed as I got their wedding gift, my purse, and my baby's diaper bag.
"Elizabeth! Could you see if Cameron is dressed! I'm trying to get Lincoln's stuff done!" I hear my husband exclaim to our oldest.
"Yeah, Dad!" She exclaimed back to him.
"Thank you!" Elizabeth rushed into Cameron's room immediately. I put everything I needed in the car to make sure I had everything. I smiled when I realized I did and rushed back into the house. I see little Vivian running towards me. I pick her up and instantly rush back into the house. She had a pink dress on but, no shoes. I groan rushing into her bedroom to grab her shoes, and fix her hair up.
"The boys are done!" Caleb exclaimed to me.
"Okay!" I yelled back. I fixed her brown curly hair. And helped put her shoes on.
"Okay, baby. Let's go," I say to her. As we rush out the door. Caleb locking our front door behind us. We moved into a new house because all six of us. We got into the vehicle booking it to the wedding.
-
Thankfully we made it without forgetting anything. I sighed as we settled in our seats. This was happening. The bridesmaids were going down with the groomsmen.
"Stand for the bride!" We all stood and heard the 'Here comes the bride' song. We see my best friend Ashley walking down the isle. (No, Noen and Ashley are no longer together.) we all sat down and listened to their vows.
-
"You made it!" Ashley exclaimed hugging me, Caleb, and all of my kids.
"How's it been with Ben?" I asked Whose now her husband. She sighed in happiness her smile forming.
"It's great! He's such a wonderful guy. I've been with him for almost seven years now..." she pauses leaning towards my ear, "I thought he would show if he did move on like he said." I nodded as I looked around.
"I saw his car. I could see if he's here," I whisper back. She shrugs it off heading towards some folks she hasn't caught up with yet.
"I'll be back. I'm taking Cameron with," he nods as he picks up Vivian heading to a table at the reception. I grab Cameron's hand as we go outside.
"Who are you looking for, Mommy?" Cameron asked me when I finally spotted Noen's black Range Rover.
"An old friend of mine," I replied back as we rushed towards his car.
"Cool," Cameron said as I helped him into Noen's car and then got in myself.
"What're you doing here?" Noen asked me knowing this is my best friends wedding. I look to see Cameron sitting back there chilling.
"I should be asking you the same thing," I say back. He doesn't say anything as we sit in the vehicle with Cameron in the back.
"I thought I could do it... I wanted to prove to her that I had moved on but..." He paused fidgeting with his fingers. I studied his body language. It's obvious that he's not over Ashley.
"My girlfriend, Lynn said, 'I don't want to go to a wedding with someone whose still in love with the person getting married' and she packed everything... and left," Noen said. I sighed taking a minute to process everything he said.
"I think, I'm -"
"If you're gonna go. You have to give me the best explanation why. I would have to tell Ashley ... your explanation. She was the one who wanted me to look for you. Caleb claimed he saw you so..." I looked at him patiently waiting for one. A decent explanation so, Cam and I could have some fun.
