21. Risking my life for her

I have ten more days to gain Ella's Love in return in order to fully transform back into a human being. Time was ticking and I was slowly panicking on the inside. I no longer wanted to remain a husky for the rest of my life. Not being able to die at all. I know I've tried. Anytime, I injure my body it goes away in a maximum of a couple days.
There were perks of being a "Wolf" but, deep down even the Witch had known I wanted to fully be a human. Basically Ella treated me the way I treated woman... I realized after crying in the bathroom or under my bed for two weeks straight that I shouldn't have done that. But, it always takes everything you lost to realize this. I'm not even from here ... I shouldn't be somewhere in America when I was from a country miles away from here. Does Ella know that? I don't think so. The only way she could possibly notice is my accent. I don't know what I'm saying.
I guess I went on to a couple different topics without meaning to. All that matters is I want to be human again.

"Caleb!" I snap out of it hearing Ella from outside of my and Noen's shared bedroom. I swing my legs over the bed setting them onto the cold wooden floor. I push myself off standing up and heading out into the living room from where I was being called from. I see Ella standing there, she looked sad. As if something had bothered or something was on her mind. I walk towards her to where I'm only two feet from her.

"You alright?" I had asked her. She nodded with a genuine expression on her face. She shyly smiled afterwards and showed me another book. The title was named;

Rescue Me

It looked very intriguing and the cover made it look even better than before. She bit her lip innocently trying to hide her smile. I smile as we head into her bedroom. I lie on the floor. My back touching the floor. She sat down next to me waiting for me to put my head on her lap. So, she reads to me while she plays with my hair.

"Hello, my name is Korra. I am from Australia... well, born here practically.. I live with my boyfriend Zach Harris... Well, he lives with me. He and I both have jobs and a car. He and I are weird.
My parents love me to death and I have two older siblings. Kasey (Kay-See) and Jake. They both are the best I could've asked for-"

"So, the author is being very direct with her characters?" I asked her. A smile formed on her lips and she scrunched her nose at me in the most cutest way possible.

"Yeah... She is," Ella replied. She decided to continue on, "My parents told me that..."

"So, Korra meets this guy and he instantly wants to be in her life? How was Korra so open to it? With him?" I had asked her. She shrugged her shoulders not knowing the answer either. I sigh as she proceeds on with it.

"Damn... that was deep..." Ella said.

"Yeah, the fact that Korra Langford did end up falling in love with him was incredible. The author did a very great job at creating this story." I state my opinion to her. I hope she would agree with me on some things about the book.

"The reason why I picked it is because she's suffering with abuse and she's vulnerable. I imagined her as a very beautiful bubbly young woman whose courageous but oblivious sometimes. Otherwise I agree with your opinion," Ella smiled at me then our hands ended up touching and our fingers intertwined. Our eyes remaining focus on how slow our hands collided together. And, how it felt as if two puzzle pieces have officially found each other.

When we both looked at each other... We were centimeters away. She leaned in ... I shut my eyes as our lips met as one. I loved when she showed a little bit of dominance. It also made me nervous and taken aback by surprise. When we slowly pulled apart our eyes met and she sighed with a weak smile.
