2. What the f-

Ella Brooks

I slowly open my eyes seeing the sun shining through my curtains but with no access to enter. Wanting to shine through my room to brighten it up. I stretched once again with a yawn. I smile again prepared for another glorious day. I move out of bed letting my warm feet touch the cold wooden floor again. I make my bed then walk towards my curtains to let the sun shine.
After I do that I go straight for my closet. I pick my blue shirt and casual jeans I usually wear at work. I grab a sports bra and a new pair of underwear. Along with grey ankle socks this time. I set them all on my bed heading into the bathroom to do my morning routine. Brush teeth, wash face, then do my hair. Once I look fresh enough I go back into my bedroom and changed into my work clothes.

I work at a book store but I work from 11:00am to 8:00pm. My co-worker and I close at 8:30pm so everything works out swell in my life.

I go back into my bathroom to study myself and I smile knowing I look good. I grab my purse which has my wallet, keys, and pin with my name on it for work. I grab my phone as well. Then I double check to make sure everything was off in the bathroom. Only the sun shines through my room so I usually don't use light. So, my bedroom was good. I close the door behind me going down the hallway then entering the living room.

"Hello boys!" I say in a happy voice which causes them to get off the couches they were being lousy on. I chuckle as I let them out into my backyard so they can go do their business. I make myself some food to eat and a smoothie to take to work. A strawberry one.

I hear barking so I go to the door letting them back in. I go back to my food finishing it so I could quickly eat it. Feed the dogs and head to work. Caleb comes and sits beside me whining for food.

"You're not getting this, Caleb ... I'm sorry," I tell him petting his head before continuing to devour my food. I see Noen lying on the floor watching me. I sigh looking between them both.

"Are you both really that bored?" I asked them and they both raise their head. I'm assuming so...

"How can you both be bored?" I felt bad that I couldn't play with them because I had to go to work.

"I can take you both for a walk tomorrow morning if you'd like?" I asked them. They both started barking with excitement.

"Okay ... but, I don't want anything in the house broken. I'll be back home at 9:00pm," Noen tilted his head all cute like. I gushed due to how much cuteness I was overloading on.

"Alright, I'll give y'all more food and ..." I noticed both of their water bottles were gone ... "Water." How in the world...?

Must be some dehydrated dogs, I thought in my mind.

I get out of my seat grabbing their water bowls filling them both up with fresh cold water. I put them in the spot and then grab a cup full of dog food putting it in their bowls evenly. After that I go back to where I was sitting grab my dishes. I rinse off my plate and then wash my hands. I grab a kitchen towel drying them off. I grab my smoothie I made and my purse taking out my keys and phone.

"I'll be back tonight, bye loves!" I give them a kiss at the top of their heads. Then head towards the front door. I make sure my house is secure then go towards my car. I get in seeing Caleb and Noen showing themselves in my living room window. I smile waving at them both before checking behind me. Once I noticed it was clear I put the car in reverse (I started it before I noticed my dogs) get out of my driveway to a point. I put my car in drive heading to my work place.

Noen Eubanks

"She takes better care of us than our last owner," I tell Caleb. He nods in agreement but I know he's not processing my words.

"Yeah, yeah ... whatever ..." he begins to walk off. I go after him biting him. He growls at me. "Hey watch it!" He exclaims at me.

"Stop being so stubborn and cocky. Listen to me. She's better with us than our last owner. If it weren't for you ... we wouldn't be in this mess!" He growls attacking me so I'm down. I bite his neck causing him to whine and I get up.

"I can't fall in love with someone in a time frame of three months, Noen... You are the definition of crazy," I growl at him so he doesn't walk away so he sits looking at me.

"Okay, but she could be our only hope... Caleb, can't you see that?" He finally looks back at me then sighs.

"There's no point. We're just gonna be huskies forever," He walks off heading back into the kitchen to whine and mope. If I could roll my eyes I totally would. I walk around the house to discover her name. I see a picture of her with the name Ella Brooks underneath it. I notice she's won a ton of awards throughout the years. Also, she's twenty-one.

I run searching for Caleb. When I do he's sitting looking outside into the backyard. He whines looking at the glass door showing the grass and the sun.

"I'd do anything to be human again," He said. I figured after searching the house for an hour and a half. I found some useful important information.

"Well, she's gonna flip when she sees us tonight ... and her name is Ella Brooks," I say. Hoping all of this will work out well.. tonight.

"I'm so tired," I say aloud with a pizza box in my hand. I feel extremely exhausted just wanting to chill in my bed and watch some Netflix. I grab my key unlocking the door to my house. I walk into the living room when I hear footsteps running towards me.

"What do you have there? Ohmygoodness it seems extremely delicious!" I scream causing them to cover their ears. Grabbing my phone.

Caleb Finn

Noen grabs the phone out of her hands, "I wouldn't do that if I were you..."

"Who the hell are you people?! Where are my dogs?!" She asks wanting answers. If she wasn't being an absolute bitch I would give her some.

"It's hard to explain..." I say to her.

"Really?!" She crosses her arms against her chest, "All I see are two grown completely exposed men in my house!"

"Ella, please?" I plead desperately.

She presses her lips together into a thin line. Then takes a deep breath, "Fine.." She crosses her arms against her chest waiting for me to fully explain the whole story.
