Maya POV

So the day went on. I showed up to all my classes and listened to all the lessons, who am I kidding I showed up but I sure as heck didn't listen haha.

So after school ended I told Riley I couldn't take the subway because I had to go straight home because my mom was getting home early. I hated to lie to her but she couldn't know about the surprise party Lucas and I were planning for her.

So I walked to Lucas's house and knocked on his door.

"Hey there cowboy, I like the barn you got yourself here," I said to mess with him.

"Thanks partner, you can come on in and have a seat on the hay barrel over there," he said with a laugh.

"Haha, okay." After that we went to his room.

"Make yourself comfortable," he said. So I sat in the chair he had next to his bed. "Okay, where should we start?" he said as he pulled a chair up next to me.

"Um the guest list and invitations?" I asked.

"Sounds good to me." So we thought up all the kids that Riley liked and that Riley liked and wrote their names down.

"Okay well I guess that's it for today," He said. So we cleaned up all the papers and the scraps

"Hey Ranger Rick," I said.

"What?" he said with a puzzled look.

"Don't forget to pass out those invitations before Riley gets to school tomorrow," I said with a smile.

"Don't worry partner I won't," he said with a wink. Then I left with the biggest smile on my face.
